yeah i went and had a talk with her and i wasn't going to cancel my date with this other girl tonight unless it really seemed like she wanted this for the right reasons

i told her i'm not going to cancel just because you're jealous and that it felt like she was being selfish. but she genuinely seems like this is what she wants. and i feel like we're on more equal footing now in both wanting a relationship

she said the holidays and the idea of being part of a new family again made her freaked out but that she's ready now

i guess we'll see, but it doesn't hurt to try again

Im pretty pissed at my ex right now. We had broke things off last year and I pretty much disappeared she hits me up like a month ago apologizing for being a bitch and she understands why I went ghost. So im like okay I accepted her apology and we went out for breakfast a couple of days after.

So now everything is going great we are seeing eachother going out doing things her birthday was the 15th so we were gonna go out and then I found out that her ex was taking her out and they got back together on Valentines Day. I decided im just gonna ghost her ass again cause I dont have time for these stupid games.

Got a question revolving around the Pof dating age restrictions. First two paragraphs are just backstory.

So Ive been trying to dive into Okcupid again but the current system of messaging has just proved infuriating tbh. Im patient but compared to how it was a year ago, idk man, its just against me as a dude imo.

So I got into POF for the first time seriously ever this week - I had a profile from a few months ago and just didnt like the online layout and back then Okcupid was still tolerable (they had just removed the visitors thing showing). Ended up using the Pof app and started liking it a lot more. Hell, at least I can message first easily enough now. Big problem though - Im mid 20s and vastly prefer mature women, from 35-50s. Fetish or whatever, thats just my thing. My old Pof account uses my real age - the oldest women I get are early 40s.

Anyway, just today I created a profile and used a very professional pic with my beard out and I said I was 50 lol. (Another pic on there though is still clean cut but I dont think Id ever pass for more than early 30s in that one. I guess it could somehow make sense if I have amazing skin). But Im already getting messages from some interested women. My question is how should I bring up that Im really in my 20s? I dont think I could let that ride out until a physical meeting, but since Im using up to date pics its not like Im exactly being too deceptive. Well I have never been in a relationship, that being the main thing.

But also I barely ever get matching on Tinder/Bumble, and rarely go on dates - but that more has to do with the fact that I live in a very rural area so there really aren't that many options.

Also even if I go on a date, and even if it seems like it goes well I rarely end up hanging out with the same person multiple times.

I don't normally post my dates here but eh

Met a chick last night for the first time at this small bar. Reason I'm posting is because she did something I100% didn't expect. We were sitting there having drinks, sharing a plate and just talking. We were there for like 2 and a half hours. Honestly it was a pretty fun conversation.

Yesterday just so happened to be my birthday however. I went to the bathroom twice (whenever I drink water or alcohol, I always have to go to the bathroom a lot). During my second trip to the bathroom, surprisingly, SHE paid for everything and I didn't find out about this until like 20 minutes later when I asked for the check. Wasn't expecting that and it honestly made me like her even more. Was the first time that's ever happened to me on a first date, she said it was a birthday gift.

Normally I usually pay for a first date because I don't even want to deal with the whole ordeal. Some women can be pretty stuck up about it. I've even heard some women say that they will pay on a first day to send an indication of not being interested but quite literally nothing else gave me that indication. We're supposed to be meeting again later this week. Pretty cool chick.
