We ended up making out in the parking lot, which is probably a mistake, but it seems pretty obvious that she is way more into me than I am into her.

So this girl who I was friends with in high school and have kept in touch with sporadically since said shed look into visiting me for a weekend while Im in SF (she lives in Seattle)

I think shes single now, and shes always been into me. On paper shes perfect for me, and shes pretty, but I just dont like her like that. Would make life a lot easier if I did (I suppose my ex/friend probably feels the same way)

So just met up with this girl for a third time for probably our first real sort of date, where we did a little more than just sort of feel each other out. Feels good, could see it going somewhere.

Also, first time in the four years Ive dated that I feel like Ive come into my own in terms of dating for companionship rather than trying to fill a void. More confident, less worried about forever, far less dependent.

Servers make better money by being friendly and getting repeat customers. That said, theres no reason why she cant be interested, either. Feel it out or go for it.

There are certainly limits, but also gotta forgive yourself for moments of weakness or you wont be able to respect how you got there.

Shes texting you because shes lonely and finds your attention validating. Nothing wrong with telling her to leave you alone because you cant be friends.

I dont know your whole backstory in this thread but this doesnt look good. There were 3-4 very cringe moments for me that I think a girl would just shake her head over and be like uh, whatever dude. Theres vulnerable and then theres being maybe too open, especially if youre not currently together. And the emoji usage mightve been going a little too hard here. Good luck though.
