I keep my phone in mg rear back right pocket :/

It fits better back there and my ear buds can't really hang out of my front pocket. I'm mot worried about theft cause I'll know immediately when my phone is gone cause my ear buds are attached to it.

Nope. I never use my back packets. I do use credit cards, but pay off the statement every month so I get all the benefits (cash back, fraud protection, etc) and don't have to pay interest. Why would you not do this?

It is absurdly easy to get one with some sort of rewards even if it's only like 1% cash back and as long as you pay off the statement every month there's no interest. I put my phone in my left front pocket, hold it with my left hand since I'm right handed and would prefer my main hand to not be occupied. Wallet in right front. "key" in right front.
Only use my back pockets when I'm at work. Keep a box cutter in back right for easy access.

student loans, monthly payments like phone etc will build credit score as well. and holding a job for 6-12 months always helps. a credit card is unnecessary

Get one with no annual fee then? Mine has no fee and directly sends $25 into my bank account whenever I've earned that much(also its much less than 12k to get 50 back). Though maybe you just live in an area with no decent credit cards.

None of my credit cards have an annual fee. My most-used credit card gives me 2% back on every purchase, so that would be $120 on that $6k with absolutely no penalty for me and no extra effort at all. I even have it set up to automatically pay the balance in full every pay period, so it's like I'm using a debit card. As mentioned before, I also get the benefit of keeping my credit score high.
