He sent out the thanks to Charlie Kirk, the head of Turning Points USA who had appeared on Fox News and praised the president. He said "The president has accomplished some absolutely historic things during this past year" Trump then said "Thank you Charlie Kirk of Turning Points USA. Sadly, the Fake Mainstream Media will NEVER talk about our accomplishments in their end of year reviews. We are compiling a long & beautiful list" Trump did not mention a day earlier that the New Yorker published a lengthy report on the group that revealed the group's national field director, Crystal Clanton was accused of sending out a racist text where screenshots showed a text sent to a employee that said "i hate black people.
