Which one is your favorite?

Personally, Rogue One had everything I ever wanted in a Star Wars movie. It was gritty and dark, and showed us the side of the Rebellion that we always knew existed but was never shown. But it also had its funny moments, mostly because of K-2SO. It easy had the best space battle, and that Darth Vader scene was just jaw dropping.

Where do you think/hope episode 8 will fall into your rankings?

Overall favorite would probably be Episode VI: Returning of the Jedi but my favorites have been Episode III, V, VI, and Rogue One.

The Christmas Special

I think I watched that first as a kid and when I watched Episode VI later, somehow didn't realize at the time that they take place on the same planet. Kinda eerie if you think about it, the possibility of getting stranded on a planet and having no "roadside assistance" to help you.

Tie between the three originals. TFA and RO were both great, but not on that level. TPM was watchable, but that's about where my praise ends. AotC and RotS were garbage and were, without exaggeration, two of the worst movies I've ever had to sit through.

I uh... kind of prefer the prequels...

I like to believe that the cringey acting was Anakin (the character not the actor) being cringey as opposed to the writing being bad. XD
But I dunno, maybe it's rose tinted glasses/goggles since those were the ones I first watched.

I can say I appreciate the prequels. I mean Duel of the Fates is easily my favorite Star Wars piece and the choreography in Revenge of the Sith was probably the best in the series. I can also understand Anakin's character. The Jedi were doing some questionable things, and when Mace Windu repeated the same line that Palpatine said in the beginning, it made him realize that the Jedi and Sith were not so far apart, so might as well pick the side that lets Padme live.

RotJ would've been good if not for the stupidity of the Ewoks' ability to fight the Empire so effectively. It should've been a credible indigenous force rather than some fuzzy little cavemen.
