This reeks of those old anti-marijuana "experiments" from decades ago where they supposedly showed that smoking pot was worse than cigarettes by directly injecting THC into mice at dosages equivalent to a human smoking like 5 pounds in one session and doing that multiple times a day.

If "smoking a couple of times a day" is a significant reduction, the woman is almost guaranteed to have had more problems than just pot. We'll never hear about that, though. :-/

If people looked at medicine with the same skepticism you might be surprised how dangerous it sounds too.

And...as someone who actually does do that and has a serious problem mentally readying myself to even take medicine: it sucks.

But like you ever look at the warning labels and stuff and see how it says "warning don't do this or this or this or you might die horribly and in a small subset of people you will die horribly anyway from a different thing"

And I'm like, "Cool, so is all this pain I have worth this risk"

Everyone I know that smokes (and that's a few dozen people) does so daily, several times a day. Yet not once has this phenomenon occurred.
So not only is it a small subset of users, it's a small subset of regular users. I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't even effect 1% of all users.

I have this issue too. It only happens sometimes and it feels like there is mucus building up somewhere and eventually you vomit it out, but not just any vomit, oh no. You will gag as you try to vomit and then it will shoot out like a fucking cannon. DO NOT GET TOO CLOSE TO THE TOILET or it will splash that shit ALL OVER YOUR FACE.

It only happens sometimes though and you get used to it. I've also discovered a separate throat technique to vomit to just bring mucus up.

Antipsychosis meds have some pretty nasty warnings. Anything from man boobs (i'm not making this up), to partial blindness.

Funny how they all leave the most common issue out, the involuntary moves/twitches. Every single people i have met in either online or irl have those and they might never go away. I mean the people who have eaten them for years. Like at least 5 years.
