Mass Shootings are just as problematic as terrorist attacks and it SHOULD be discussed with new legislation No. I will not support anything that changes our gun laws View Results The 26 y/o former US Air Force Veteran and Bible Study Teacher has been identified as Devin Patrick Kelley as the mass shooter who opened fire at a Texas Church killing at least 27, including a Pastor's daughter and a 2 year old child!! He walked into First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs dressed in full combat gear and began shooting He lives in New Braunfels, a suburb of San Antonio who was killed after a brief chase as it's unclear what his motive was. Police raided his home as he was also MARRIED and had recently postd a photo of an AR-15 style gun that said "She's a bad b**" He joined the US Air Force after graduation in 2009 and worked in the logistics and supply in the Air Force until he was DISHONOURBLY DISCHARGED in 2014 and was court martialed. He then volunteered for Bible Studies at Kingsville First Baptist Church. At least 24 others were injured in the horrific shooting including a 6 y/o boy named only as Rylan who was shot 4 times. It is the worst shooting at a place of worship in American History as witnesses said a man in "full gear" walked in and opened fire imediately. Pastor Frank Pomeroy said his 14 y/o daughter is among the dead and described her as a very beautiful, special child. He and his wife Sherri were out of town when the shooting happened. Families and Friends stood outside the Brooke Army Medical Centre as people described the loss of their loved ones..Amanda Mosel's 13 y/o Goddaughter was killed in the shooting.. Sutherland Springs is a rural community with only 400 people as residents feared the shooter may have been someone they knew but he was not from the area as the shooting is not related to terrorism. The First Baptist church has over 150 videos of its services recorded onto Youtube as the shooting may have been recorded that would give clues as to what happened.
