No, don't want innocents to die. And not everyone in prison or with a conviction is bad. Some just made a bad choice.
Is the 60 year old that got in a bar fight when he was 18 going to die? Even though he's been a good person ever since?

When I imagine Criminals, I see Murderer's, Rapists, Those who will commit violent crimes without care, and other types that can be just as bad, THOSE I would get rid of for a million, easily, But a lot of small time things or even those wrongly accused?, yeah nah, If I had a choice those would be spared.

And yes, I read what TC posted, just thought I'd put in a bit of info behind my choice.

So what you want is violent crimes.

That probably still includes the bar fight from 40 years ago that was never repeated....

You just can't lump criminals like this. Occasionally some really do turn their lives around and become good people, do they deserve to die too? Why remove the chance for someone to turn their lives around? Why should one mistake condemn you forever?
The media only ever talks about the prisoners released that are likely to reoffend. But what about the countless others that have been released and moved on to live good productive lives, having families, supporting their communities, etc.? Why would you want to kill them? And what about their kids? Are they doomed to an orphanage where they grow up hating everyone and become criminals themselves?

Also, TC, are your parents around 50 years old?
If so, they grew up in the generation that drove drunk, got in fights, vandalized everything, smoked drugs, street raced, break and entered on basically everyone around them.

So basically everyones parents are going to die with your proposal. Since pretty much everyone from the 60's to 80's were super bad, and most grew out of it and became good people.

In a lot of places, that would be considered indecent exposure, a sex crime. That's a felony with extra strings attached to it

No way. Plenty of people are in jail that are either innocent or for charges that should have warranted a lesser punishment. Even if it's only felons, there's going to be some innocent convicted felons and those guilty for the most part don't deserve death.

Youre confusing incarcerated with convicted.

This... just because youre out of jail doesn't mean you are not still a "convicted criminal."

Like someone already said, being a criminal doesn't mean youre a bad person. Not all convicted criminals are guilty and not all crimes are necessarily immoral. Our legal system is far from perfect and legality does not equal morality. Not to mention all the families of the convicted felons that would be affected by them suddenly dropping dead.

And we see that someone doesnt know about overbearing sex offender laws.

Ill also state that a misdemeanor is converted to a felony by Third Strike Laws.

A person with 3 incredibly minor offenses then gets a Felony charge against them.

So yeah. Very minor things can result in felonies.

If they can't learn from the first time, that's on them. I'd take the million and let 'em croak.

Absolutely. The amount of reformed felons or wrongly accused is absolutely minuscule in comparison to the felons running loose on the streets ruining towns, cities, businesses, and lives.

Assuming this means felons only, of course.

tough choice to be honest. I feel the world is overpopulated but simply every criminal wouldn't be enough to dent that enough to make a difference. i'm not going to answer as I honestly don't know what i'd do unless actually put in that situation. one thing I know about myself very well is I can say i'd do this or that, but it might turn out to be the opposite when actually put in the situation.
