You're pulling articles from all over the place, random think pieces, and not citing the actual broadcast. Do you think there being ANY news article makes it a big deal? Again, the facts are that there was all of 12 players in week 2 who did anything. The story was dying until Trump threw gas on the fire and you saw a massive push back by the players because he attacked NFL players directly.

I feel as an American you should stand no matter the circumstances. We might not be the best country but many men and women have fought and died for freedoms many others lack.

You do indeed have a right (as those same people fought for that right)to sit for the flag but everyone is doing it for the wrong reasons at this point(I think it's wrong regardless but there is some leeway). It's interesting how many are doing it just to spite a certain individual.

Some will agree and disagree with my post but that's how I feel about the issue.

I don't think the anthem is considered being dropped in this case... most people don't have a problem with the anthem. I think it's some of the players who are going to be dropped if they don't abide by their employer's potential impending rules placed on their privileged multi-million dollar contracts.

And unless you're one of the few liberals on this board who didn't say "Fair, Next" to all of the conservatives getting fired, you really shouldn't have too much to say about this.
