pyresword 10/11/17 9:41:24 PM #85:	Oh yeah I said I was going to make a post on useful commands. To use these you just type the command into the chat and hit enter. Anything in parentheses in the command means you can input any pokemon or item or move or whatever there. (No one else will see that you enter the command, although you can replace / with ! to instead broadcast it to your opponent/spectators if you want.) /weakness (pokemon) - Tells what weaknesses, resistances, and immunities the given Pokemon has. Note this doesn't take abilities into account, so like it will say Flygon takes neutral damage from Ground moves even though it is actually immune because of it's ability Levitate. /data (pokemon/move/item/ability) - Basically just tells you information about whatever you are inputting. So for Pokemon it gives types, possible abilities, and base stats. Moves it will give things like type, BP, PP, what it does, whether it's physical or special, etc. Items and abilities it basically just gives a description. /dt (pokemon/move/ability/item) - Same thing as /data but gives a bit more information in addition to what's given by /data. In particular the useful things I can remember that are in this but not /data are the priority level of moves, the weight of Pokemon (also conveniently it directly tells what BP that converts to for Grass Knot and Low Kick), whether or not it's a contact move, and any special classes a move falls into (ie. punch or kick moves, or other similar groups). /learn (pokemon), (move) - Tells you whether or not the Pokemon you input is able to learn the move you input. There might be others I'm not remembering, but pretty sure these are the main ones I use. One other point of note: -Hovering over the opponent's active Pokemon gives a host of useful information. The most useful is that it will display a speed range from the opponetn--for example, "74 to 116 Spe (before items/abilities/modifiers)". The important thing to note is that generally speaking, the Pokemon will always have the highest speed within that range in Random Battles, which allows you to determine exactly the opponent's speed. The exceptions to this are if the opponent has a Hidden Power type which forces a reduction of speed (in which case they will have 1 less than the high end of the range), or if they have a move like Gyro Ball or Trick Room which benefits from low speed (in which case they will be at the low end). (No one else will see that you enter the command, although you can replace / with ! to instead broadcast it to your opponent/spectators if you want.) /weakness (pokemon) - Tells what weaknesses, resistances, and immunities the given Pokemon has. Note this doesn't take abilities into account, so like it will say Flygon takes neutral damage from Ground moves even though it is actually immune because of it's ability Levitate. /data (pokemon/move/item/ability) - Basically just tells you information about whatever you are inputting. So for Pokemon it gives types, possible abilities, and base stats. Moves it will give things like type, BP, PP, what it does, whether it's physical or special, etc. Items and abilities it basically just gives a description. /dt (pokemon/move/ability/item) - Same thing as /data but gives a bit more information in addition to what's given by /data. In particular the useful things I can remember that are in this but not /data are the priority level of moves, the weight of Pokemon (also conveniently it directly tells what BP that converts to for Grass Knot and Low Kick), whether or not it's a contact move, and any special classes a move falls into (ie. punch or kick moves, or other similar groups). /learn (pokemon), (move) - Tells you whether or not the Pokemon you input is able to learn the move you input. There might be others I'm not remembering, but pretty sure these are the main ones I use. One other point of note: -Hovering over the opponent's active Pokemon gives a host of useful information. The most useful is that it will display a speed range from the opponetn--for example, "74 to 116 Spe (before items/abilities/modifiers)". The important thing to note is that generally speaking, the Pokemon will always have the highest speed within that range in Random Battles, which allows you to determine exactly the opponent's speed. The exceptions to this are if the opponent has a Hidden Power type which forces a reduction of speed (in which case they will have 1 less than the high end of the range), or if they have a move like Gyro Ball or Trick Room which benefits from low speed (in which case they will be at the low end). In addition to the speed thing, you can also see things like possible abilities the Pokemon has, what moves it's used, and how much PP they have left.</quote> ... Copied to Clipboard!
