I'm not at all familiar with ImgBB, but it's the first non-sponsored result for "image host" on Google.

I want to see what the main image host on CE is today, but also I want to see if ImgTC is still widely used. I'm trying to develop something for it but there are some issues with the site that I'm uncovering that I don't like (namely not supporting transparency on PNG files) and the guy who hosts the site seems to have fallen off the face of the earth a few months ago.

I just use Gamefaqs by uploading them as boxart and posting the link.





Although really, I just use Imgtc and Imgur.

I'd use imgtc more if users had the ability to delete an image.

how? i remember he got rid of the search function right when he realized it was being used for cp.

Imgtc when uploading from phone. Imgur when uploading from PC or rehosting pics.

puush, can quickly upload pictures on your computer straight to the internet (click on a picture then the default should be ctrl+shift+u and it uploads it and gives you the link when it's done) and can also do the same with screenshots, and it can do portions of the screen too like this: https://puu.sh/xxMz1/d604889937.png

puush always bugged out when i tried to use it.

and they delete images from their severs after six months.

Imgur for when I need to upload a large batch of images (ImgTC struggles for me if I try to upload more than like 20 images at a time) and ImgTC for quick uploads of only a couple images.

About a year ago, there was an incident in which through a pretty glaring security oversight, literally anyone who had your e-mail address could reset your imgtc account password. (the way the account recovery was set up, you'd enter an e-mail address, and instead of sending the new password in an e-mail, it would be shown immediately onscreen).

About that same time, he had closed his original gamefaqs account and quit promoting imgtc like he used to. I was able to contact him and get the issue corrected, though it still left a bad taste in my mouth. No idea why he keeps closing his accounts.

hmmm I didn't know about that...his name was like jim something right? whatever happened to him, I wonder.
