Not only has this guy started texting me again but I'm talking to the friend he's supposedly friends with and I guess they aren't actually really friends so I more or less don't have a reason not to completely lay into him. No reason besides my own maturity.

He's been sending me random sorry-not-sorry messages for the last half hour saying he was just messing around. I haven't replied to any of them.

I didn't respond to him again and he gave up. He started texting a few hours later but I just ignored him. I didn't think it was that funny but in retrospect the we hanging out bit is particularly pathetic and kind of funny. I posted it because some people were talking about girls being bitches for ghosting on here a while ago and I thought this was a good example as to why ghosting is an understandable strategy.

You just don't want to say anything.

Usually I try to kindly find ways to end the conversation but I have some times where I just don't say anything for a day or longer
