I remember my state (south carolina) got hit by hurricane matthew this past october, and the power was out for everyone in certain counties for almost two weeks. (well, depended on the neighborhoods. The rich ones had their shit up and running extremely fast, lol). Mcdonalds, burger king, hardees etc. was making a killing since they were the first businesses to get power back. The traffic was insane (because of both the lines of getting into the parking lots and drive-thrus and the traffic lights being out), lines backed up for blocks...just for some lousy-ass whoppers and dry-ass fries burger king. (granted, said lousy whopper and dry-fries tastes like the food of kings after living off of ramen noodles, bottled water, and charcoal grilled hot-dogs for about a week).
