Yes Mega. From what I read the DACA program provides work visas for those children of undocumented immigrants but they have to reapply every 2 years.

Ah I misread but yeah that's a good plan. It's definitely a daunting process and expensive to boot.

Be sure to look for any non profits in the area That help with this kind of stuff. I used to work for Mi Familia Vota and I know they have CA offices.

Well, before I get into anything, the graphics card has a display port input that I've been using. Then it started screwing up so I hooked up an HDMI cable directly to the motherboard and it worked (but it sucked cause I wasn't using my graphics card). That made me think that it was just the cable. Then I got a new cable, it worked for a couple of hours, then the computer went to sleep and never woke up. Now neither the display port in the graphics card nor the hdmi in the motherboard give my monitor signal.

Diagnosis wise, I unplugged the power cord, held the power button for a minute, and tried to turn it back on (the internet said it would help, somehow). Then, I took out the graphics card and reset it, making sure it was tight. I also took out the ram sticks, wiped them down, and tried to boot up by using either one and both. Then, I took off the motherboard battery for a few minutes and put it back in.

I'm a bit more convinced that it's the motherboard since I just found the box for it (i didn't know my specs cause shamus ordered all the parts and built it, lol) and it looks like it has its own integrated graphics - the hdmi port that also doesn't work. Like, I think that if the graphics card was the sole problem, I could've booted up through the motherboard itself. But I think that if the motherboard is crapping out, the graphics card may still be in good condition and just unable to send the signal. That's just my assumption though (and wishful thinking).
