I found her alone and crying in a small waiting room. She said "I can't watch John die". I sat with her. I was told my daughter was going to die and we were told we could go see/sit with her. Just as he got the shot I put my hand on him and I felt his pulse getting weaker and weaker until it stopped completely. When he was gone it started to rain which was kinda fitting I guess(we did it outside in the trunk of our car). It is kind of odd how people talk about "last words before someone dies", both of them were so weak from fighting for life that the only way you knew they were still alive was their breathing. Other then that they weren't moving or speaking at all. --- I am a senior software engineer.
