I'm having a bit of trouble this morning and am just completely beside myself. Since becoming a man of god last week, I've abstained from relations with other people, as well as myself. Last night, I had a really vivid dream and when I woke up this morning, it was abundantly clear that I had involuntarily sinned.

So, for those of you that are religious, do you think this warrants going to confession?

Unless you mean the reason you woke up to some, uh hum, was because you lusted after a lady in a movie the hours previous. But then that would be your sin, lusting.

In all seriousness, in Mark 7:20-23, Jesus says this:

"What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.' "

Is it really sexual immorality if it is an involuntary dream? But dreams originate from somewhere... This is something you have to decide for yourself. The Holy Spirit will lead the way to enlightenment.
