The only reason to go to Minnesota is to spend a few days at Mall of America. Which I would like to do some day.

Either spring or fall otherwise it tends to be really hot or extremely cold. There is also Victory Memorial Parkway which is one of the best places in the world to go to if you play Pokemon Go. Its a 3 mile stretch with well over 50 Poke Stops and several gyms. Never any shortage of people to do raids either.
