That's actually a pretty annoying mistake. I'll still watch the movie but why do they make mistakes like this when they have such a huge budget for research?

I lol'd.

Especially since the tweet obsessing on little facts got a little fact wrong. Kinda a big fact, the date of the setting.

In Spider-Man Homecoming, they incorrectly state the number of pieces in the Lego Deathstar by using the old model count despite Ned building the newer model.
They built like 5 copies of the set, so there should have been boxes all around with the number handily printed on them.

Why would you do your job wrong if it takes equal effort to do it right?
I truly don't understand.

Is that true? Why would they do that? I mean, key parts of the story and interactions pretty heavily depend on the culture of the time.

And 80's nostalgia is hotter than 50's nostalgia now. It was meant to be a nostalgia sorta thing with the kids plotline.

Not to mention the fact that the flashback at the beginning that takes place right after the first Avengers film is shown to have happened 8 years ago, even though I'm pretty sure Avengers 1 took place in 2012, not 2009 (nope, not confusing it with the release date).

Pennywise isn't even the focus. I wish people would get off the clown thing. The clown is like one of billions of forms the entity can take on. I feel like people who only saw the old miniseries and never read the book over hype the clown form. It's not a clown it's a god

Right, but if you'd read the book, you'd also know that It prefers the clown form because it lures children.

Well it's 2017, and there really is a demented clown running amock in America. He's just taking out our whole country at once from the oval office, instead of one kid at a time.
