My dad quit smoking before I was born, and after watching grandpas, uncles, and aunts drop dead from ciggarette related diseases I never had a desire to try.

Maybe when I am in my 70's I might pick it up just to try it, but probably not before then.

Switched to Mild Seven and cigars at 24.
Quitted at 25.

However, I had tried a Mebius One cigarette in late 2015.
And recently, last month... I smoked a Winston cigarette.

I think I smoked 3 cigarettes my senior year of high school, all while on E (they're supposed to help calm you down?).

Other than that, I shared maybe 2-4 cigars with some friends, so I probably had less than one total. We sneaked them from his dad because it was fun and a little adventurous, but never liked them enough to do it regularly or go buy our own.



Oh! I actually just remembered I had one cigarette in college, and it was with a PotDer! I asked him for a lighter without realizing who he was, and we chatted a bit.

Fucking sucks. I smoked like three cigarettes yesterday and I have one more in my drawer, but I don't want to smoke it. I'm trying to get at quitting again. But just keeping it there is obviously a sign I'm going to fail myself eventually.

Shit like this amazes me. I've been smoking cigars for the last 2 years but never feel impulsed to smoke them. I very easily could quit forever if I wanted to. I'm on holidays right now, I haven't smoked a cigar in nearly 3 weeks, and I feel no urge to have one.

I wonder why cigarettes are so much more addicting than cigars.

I spent the next, what felt like, hours lying on the ground with my throat burning because the girls' house I was staying at was poor, it was a hot summer and no cold water anywhere. I even tried the sink water!
It was from there I vowed to never torture myself again :P

Yeah, I told myself that, and felt the same way about cigarettes for years. Then shit happens in your life where the choices you make to enjoy yourself in your free time slowly turn into a basic necessity to not feel like killing yourself

So eh, do what you want, just don't let it get to the point where it's the only thing that gives you comfort anymore. This can be said for all drugs, or anything in life that gives you comfort. Such as love or companionship. That's addictive easily. Which is partly why I'm a drug addict.

Yeah, I'm smoking one right now.

So naturally I did smoke the cigarette. Woke up from a string of very odd dreams/borderline nightmares and filled up an old e-cig i figured the coil was shot in. Ahh sweet relief. The coil is completely shot now though.

In comparison, the relief I get from an e-cig is magnitudes higher than a cigarette cause I don't get the cardiotoxic effects (or whatever the correct term may be for the fact that cigarettes are toxic and make me feel weak), when I only want the nicotine.

A lame and problematic addiction for me. It seems without any decent alternative, I will end up ingesting anything that comes my way to relieve the internal conflict that I am plagued by. Though besides the odd DM tablet, I am not actively looking to use any drugs at the moment. And honestly, I'm surprised DXM is even legal given the fact it has antidepressant efffects.

So thanks government and marijuana laws, you suck. And after writing this, a horribly intense stomachache has come about. What am I supposed to do for that? Smoke a cigarette, drink a beer? Yeah fucking right. With my various problems I don't think I'll ever be able to get a job.

I smoked the filter like two nights ago, I was half asleep in the middle of the night, I didn't notice until the next morning when I saw in the ashtray there was the tip of the cigarette ashed out instead of the butt. I thought it tasted weird but it was dark and I was half asleep.

I bought a new Baby Beast coil but this juice isn't doing jack shit for me. Can't tell if it's the coil (reading ~0.24 ohms when it is listed as 0.15 ohms), or if it's just because it's cheap watery $5 juice. Probably is the juice but regardless this is pissing me off (the vapor feels inert).

Good juice is important go higher VG, some people have issues with PG oil.

I only use a 3mg Nicotine, it produces way too much vape to go any higher. I would do max 6mg in this mod.

I think that must be the case, I've never opted for cheap juice before. I actually was wanting Ego AIO coils, too. (That was what I got the good draw off but that also may have just been the last bit of good juice I had left in the coil before refilling it with the cheap stuff) My other mod is pretty bulky with the baby beast (eVic AIO 75w) Vape shop was closed today though.

Sure, you could say that. There is a number of other factors, parents smoking, peer pressure, curiosity.

Most people who try it cant phsyically handle it and don't end up addicted.

The addiction is purely mental - even people that swear they can stop for weeks at a time shows how delusional they actually are.

If you can stop at 3 weeks at a time, why continue? People that say they like the taste are lying - no smoker does. They have to have an excuse otherwise they feel stupid, deep down they know they secretly wish they can stop. Most dont realise they are actually drug addicts.

I feel sorry for smokers, and definately don't judge them. I was one of them, learning that I didn't have a ''bad habit'' and was actually a drug addict was a hard thing for me to handle, but it helped me understand it a lot better to.
