S3E2 "Playtest"
S3E3 "Shut up and Dance"

One that some people hate:
S1E1 "The National Anthem"

One that MOST people HATE:
S2E3 "The Waldo Moment"

There, that is a very comprehensive list that takes into account most people's tastes, this list is very different to how I'd personally rank all the episodes but I have read a LOT of rankings for this and I really don't think you can break them down into subgroups that reflect a general trend much better than this. (Very few people list their favorite episode as anything other than those top 4 and I'd say over 80% of people put Waldo on the very bottom)

I just started watching it last week out of the blue. Never heard of it before then, but Netflix recommended it because I keep rewatching The Twilight Zone.

Watched the first two episodes and I love it so far. I'm surprised that two other people I've recommended it to IRL have already watched a bunch of episodes and liked it too.

I've watched every reaction on YouTube, I've read reviews and talked to many people, and I've found nothing but positive thoughts on this episode. So I'll have to say that you don't have a clue what you're talking about unless it's just your friends that you're relating to, and if that's the case, drop them for having a shit opinion. But you seem to share the same trait

Episode is great, I haven't heard anyone say a bad thing about it. Not in YouTube reactions, not in written reviews, not from people I know IRL. You're in fact the first person I've seen saying anything bad about it.

Look at both the official tv reviewer for the avclub as well as 100s of user reviews for each episode, and you will notice that it is you who have limited idea what you are talking about.

Maybe the couple youtube reviewers you got into like "Shut up and dance" but there are 9 episodes with a consensus of A- (an A consensus is effectively impossible, but you can still look at the distributions)

There are 3 B+ consensus:
Playtest
Shut up and Dance
And Men against Fire

And 1 B- consensus: "The Waldo Moment"

So yeah hundreds of votes are backing what I said. Looking at reddit many people have SUAD high but many also have it mid to low, maybe among younger people it's more popular, idk. But if you read the AVClub's B grade review of SUAD you'll get why it's not that great:

Well look at the AVClub scores and reviews I linked. The good AVClub tv reviewers are probably the most thorough and intellectually diligent tv reviewers out there so that it gets a fairly low grade can be added to the counterpoint column against your "literally everything I've seen".

I'm normally not that confrontational about tv content quality debates, but the other guy drew rambo first blood so that's why I was more aggressive.

I do think on it's merits it's a weaker episode, but like I said the list I gave is me trying to be as objective as possible reflecting public consensus. There are some pockets that seem to love the episode but I think they are newer fans to the show because they certainly weren't there when the episode was first posted. The AVClub score distributions seem to well reflect the original consensus on the episodes.

Bullshit. Desperation will, not might, make you make what should be dumb decisions. A troll threatens to expose your child porn viewing ways if you don't do as they say.
