When I was in elementary school during computer lab, everyone had The Sims installed on their computer to goof off on. Well one day, someone put the cheat in where you can move objects around freely. So when a woman was taking a shower, they moved her out of the shower and stared at her titties while all the kids in class crowded around the computer and gawked. The teacher was freaking out the whole time. The next, it was uninstalled from all the computers lol.

And then one time in middle school, we all found this volleyball flash game where if you won enough games, you get to see the girls play topless >_> That was very popular in our class for a while. None of the teachers found out about it

Nothing inappropriate but my HS computer teacher had Quake 3 and ROMs of pretty much every SNES game installed on every computer so we'd do like 15 minutes of work then spend the rest of the hour with most of the class playing Quake together

Only games I remember seeing alot of back then were Ultimate Sonic Flash, a Sonic game that put Shadow's Sonic battle model in, looking at new announcements for Mario Kart Double Dash's roster and being confused who the fuck Toadette was and the Digimon game where you played as either Agumon or Tentomon and shot emails at things as you went through a tunnel, oh and this stickman sorta visual novel that always ended in murder if you picked the wrong choice

In my Cisco networking class in high school I set my computer as an admin and then installed halo on my computer and allowed other computers on the network to access it. We had a 16 player LAN going on blood gultch mid lecture. Class got too out of hand and the teacher ended up stopping his lecture and then going over to a student's computer and watching us play. Next day all computers were wiped clean and my admin status was gone.

We played a lot of doom and Jedi knight in my computer repair class.

I'd bring MUGEN and stepmania to class burned on a disc. Literally brought in usb controllers to play since the teacher had given up on the class. And it was a double period too so I wasted so much time. Idk who decided to put the worst kids in a computer networking class.

We didn't have any of your fancy schmancy games back in my day. Although, starting in first grade we were really the first students to have computers through 1st grade thru high school. The year before, when I was in kindergarten, the computer lab did not exist. I remember the library just being full of books - and the next year, half of it was replaced with computers. Didn't get internet at school until like 6th or 7th grade.

The only games we had were stuff like Number Munchers or that fish game where you had to decide what your action was going to be when you came across other sea creatures. I could always get a laugh out of using the "run away" command when I was a great white shark and ran away from some dinky fish.

Some of the 'newer' macs offered a couple different games and better graphics. One game, The Secret Island of Dr Quandary, was the HIT of the elementary school. There wasn't a single person that disliked the game. The teachers loved it because it had math concepts (even though they were FUN math i.e. - like process of elimination and stuff). But the game was an adventure game - and it was actually quite good. There were no math equations or formulas - nothing like that. Easily the best game MECC ever put out, imo.

When I was in middle school, we had a typing class in sixth grade. I would always finish early, and have a chance to play Dr. Quandary again. This is likely how I became so fast at typing, Lol. I had a goal to meet!

Highschool was all about Javanoid through the internet browser. I remember a couple computers had Sim City 2000 for some reason. I played that when I could.

Penguin Toss, that bikini girl volleyball game, some tank game that was just two tanks on randomly generated 2D terrain and you could buy different weapons after each round

Ah man Mugen and Stepmania.

I actually did some work with Team CVG back when they were still called that. I did some of the code for their Spawn, Captain Marvel and a few other things. I only released one haracter by myself though. And that was Mega Man Model ZX.

I played a good bit of Stepmania, too. Never got crazy good like some of the people you see online but I managed to get through a few moderately challenging ones, and I missed no steps at all on Mr. Roboto hardest mode once. I made a few songs myself but I never released them.

I played this one a lot too, it acutlaly goes above 2 people if you just want to add more people. there was a really big glitch in it that could make someone unkillable, forget exactly how it worked but I think we banned a few weapons because of it

other popular games were starcraft and N

We had a computer room that was all computers on the perimeter of a math classroom but that was really just used for the tech clubs after school. We went to the library on our off periods and there were maybe 8 in total in a row. Only thing was they faced the main desk where the annoying old guy librarian could bug people about doing things non-work related. Like, dude, it's my off period. Relax. We're just dicking around.

Remember bored.com actually being useful? It still exists but it's not the same.

I dunno. I mean I played some violent stuff but nothing edgy and sadistic that would "feel cool to get away with". Like Madness Interactive, Thing-Thing, that stick castle game where you pick them up by the head and drop them...

I just made sure not to have them see.

Like Caution said. In elementary school we had one game and that was The Secret Island of Dr Quandary. It actually gave me the creeps at the time

Middle school we had Oregon Trail and Number Munchers. Hardly exciting

Didn't have anything in highschool and I was kinda out of gaming during that time, but I was a teachers assistant one period and I remember having a floppy disk with about 15 NES games. I would play that during that class as I usually had nothing to do. Got pretty good at Contra.

It wasn't during a class, and i don't think the game itself was particularly inappropriate, but a friend spent a good 3-5 minutes pretending to fuck a sheep in a multiplayer game of Hexen 2.

Even worse, the rest of us just stood around in-game watching him, mainly to see how long it would take before (a) he got tired of doing it or (b) the supervising teacher noticed.

7th and 8th grade computing classes me and my buddies Andrew and Mick were in the back because we were good kids that never got in trouble. Our computers couldn't be seen by the teacher because they were like facing her directly when all the other PCs were in long rows she could see the monitors from the front of the class.

So we got into Leisure Suit Larry 4. It had some questions to boot the game, basic knowledge of someone that would be 18+ when it was made (and it was probably a 4-5 year old game at that point).

Then we started playing Doom all the time. Or maybe it was Wolfenstein 3D, I still can't tell them apart.

I got the preppy girls to play runescape in middle school. Newgrounds would have been in its prime than so I'm sure some games were inappropriate. In high school our intro to programming class turned into starcraft class when the teacher couldn't figure out how to connect to a ms access file in java

We actually had a pretty competent tech department, so all the games were hidden behind pretty decent blocks. You couldn't just google a proxy and be good to go. Because of that, pretty much every person that went to my HS knows at least the basics of coding, which we all used to skirt the restrictions and play garbage games like Ski Free and whatnot.

We also used it to simultaneously open goatse or meatspin on every computer on the network a few times, but meh.

That kind of inappropriate? Uhh, I remember one Flash game and if you lost, the character got fucked in the bushes by some other naked guy(s) with a loud scream. I think it was a kind of Duck Hunt-esque game. It was pretty weird lol.

I vaguely remember some other Flash game with inappropriate content that took place in a school. Don't remember much else about it.

That was the case in my school too, but a friend found a way into the Control Panel in Windows 2000/NT. I think you went into Help via the Start Menu, and in the Control Panel entry, there was a link to it. Can't believe they missed that.

Speaking of inappropriate games does anyone remember some flash game on Newgrounds where you were a kid that went on a school shooting? It was kinda like a puzzle game and oddly engaging to see what obstacle you'd come across next.

Was it Pablo something?

I don't remember any of the specifics, but it would be stuff like How many times has Pamela Anderson posed in Playboy or Who did Ronald Reagan tell to tear down the wall, stuff like that.
