LOL I just used Lulu's basic attack for the first time and had a great chuckle at watching the little cactuar hop over and then leap into the air to smash its entire body into a flying thing

Yeah, each temple has a Destruction Sphere treasure. It might be worth loading an old save to get it, but you can backtrack later if you want.

I like Blitzball, as in like I liked doing it once and then I played a few league games, but there's nothing that makes me actually want to keep playing it when every game was basically the same and it seems like it'd take way too much time playing it to get... whatever the rewards even are

Well, obviously the lore and familiarity of the characters/teams are pretty important. I love the world of FFX and the people in it. If that was all generic, I wouldn't be interested.

And, while simple, the stats and ability system make it more than just "underwater soccer". If expanded on, similar to how something like Gwent was taken from The Witcher 3 and made more complex and into its own thing, I think it could be potentially interesting.

Also I don't see how the prospect of "underwater soccer" is not cool in the first place!
