Not even the Fire Emblem fans think Awakening had good map design and enemy placement, though there were a few good ones in the earlier chapters. Fates had more rushes that required different strat than aggro, and in Lunatic, there are enough poison strikes in enemies that you will never have a unit tanky enough to survive more than 4 people. And... Disgaea is not exactly all that deep either... If you didn't grind enough, sometimes there's just no way to beat certain content. Still, i don't understand why someone would buy it without reading or watching a review for it first, because anyone expecting an actual turnbased strategy like Tactics ogre or Fire emblem would be seriously disappointed.
