Finally decided to see what the fuss was all about and finished Syberia (PC). All I can say is UGH.
Game ain't bad. Story is 3/5 I guess. It's just really old so it's got some classic adventure game symptoms like useless screens, no way to skip long walking sequences, and stairs my god stairs. I could've finished it in 3 days were it not for the ludicrous amounts of backtracking and slow-ass pacing. Really terrible pacing now that I think about it. The game suddenly decides to start the plot for realz only to end in a cliffhanger. Time to start the sequel --- It's not so cliche anymore when it's happening to you. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Have I listed all the Rance games so far? I haven't personally been the one playing most of them, but it's a co-op experience. Anyway,
Rance 5D: The Lonely Girl Weird game. Not nearly as procedurally-generated as you might think from the premise; mostly just short. Fighting Masters (Genesis)
An early fighting game on Genesis and it's...not that good. Double Dragon (Genesis) This port impressed me. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (Genesis) Very fun fighter and good presentation. WWF Betrayal (Game Boy Color) This beat em' up was amusing. Batman: The Video Game (Game Boy) This version was very fun for an early Game Boy game.
