1.) Motorcycles

Okay so don't get me wrong, I'm glad that the weather is warming up, but sadly, with all good things comes a price - as the lovely weather encourages me to drive with my windows down, it also encourages jackass motorcycle riders to bring their bikes back out from the depths of hell.

Not only are they all loud as fuck, but like pickup truck drivers, they act like they own the highways. They weave in and out of traffic going 20MPH over the speed limit, making dangerous lane change after dangerous lane change (with no blinker or arm signal, mind you). Case in point, a guy was merging behind me into my lane yesterday (the first day it broke 70 degrees), and I swear, he was so close, it looked like he could have reached out and touched my bumper with his arms if he felt like it. Additionally, as if he wasn't annoying enough - the way the lane works was that it merges from one highway onto another (394 to 94). And it's one lane. So, basically, it is everyone in that lane's responsibility to merge onto 94, since the 394 lane ends. Well, this jackass thought he was so special that, despite the fact we are all changing into the same lane as we enter 94, he decided to change lanes before me, despite being behind me, and speed up to the point that I almost hit him because I had to merge as well.

Such a god damned asshole. And side note? I've never seen a motorcyclist get pulled over. They zip around going so fucking fast, but they NEVER get caught for speeding or reckless lane changes. Absolute horse shit. I don't understand why anyone would hop on one of those death traps anyways, but hey, natural selection takes a long time to work.

2.) Sleeping in the same bed as someone

Okay again, don't get me wrong, I really like my girlfriend. But fuck me, sleeping in the same bed as someone is a god damned catastrophe. Every time. Now I am happy to admit that I am a bit of a sleep queen - I need a cold room with lots of blankets, I need space, I don't want to touch or be touched, and I roll around a lot to get comfortable before falling asleep. On my own, sleeping is no problem.

But introduce someone else into the situation? Might as well just pull an all nighter. Last night was no exception. The big reason I have problems sleeping with someone is that, my last criterion, rolling around a lot to get comfy, is basically not going to happen. The last thing I want to do is be a guest in someone's house, and keep rolling around to disturb their sleep because I can't get to sleep. So, the "nice guy" in me minimizes his rolling. Now, the fact that there's someone right next to me introduces another problem. It severely limits the number of comfortable positions available. I basically end up with a dead arm, no matter what - if I face her, then one arm is either under my pillow or parallel with my body, so as not to touch her, or if I face away from her, then it's flopping off the bed and falling asleep.

I don't know whose bright idea it was to make sleeping with your partner a common thing, but all I can say is that I hate that person. Case in point, I move to the couch around 3AM because I haven't slept a wink, and in the morning, girlfriend's first assumption is that I'm pissed off at her or punishing her or something. Obviously that's not even remotely the case, but since we're conditioned to believe that sleeping together is an indicator of a happy relationship, she starts to think something's up. Same exact thing happened with my most recent ex as well.

Yeah sharing a bed sucks, my gf usually sleeps in the middle while I'm stuck to the edge, sometimes I'll just push her over if I can't sleep but usually it's just me pushed into the edge. Definitely preferred to sleep alone.

Thankfully I have none of these issues being as I don't drive and have never slept in a bed with anyone that I recall.

I love my motorcycle so you can kindly shove it on that one. I agree about bed sharing, fuck that noise. I'd rather sleep on the couch than with my bed hog ex.

I don't blame you for being mad with that motorcyclkst. That guy is an idiot and he'll pay the price one day. There's two types of motorcyclists, riders that have crashed and riders that haven't crashed yet. With that being said, I fucking love my motorcycle and can't wait to get on it this week.

I also am not the biggest fan of having my gf sleep in my bed, because even though I have a king size bed, and we are both thin people, she feels the need to take up 3/4ths of the bed sometimes. Sometimes she stays well on her side and it's actually nice. But usually I have to ask her to move over.

Ur not. I love sleeping with kenny and it sucks when he plays games all night and falls asleep on the couch.

I don't have a problem with motorcycles, half the time I usually keep my window up because just normal wind and highway noise will drown out the radio unless I have it going full blast anyways. Motorcycles don't add anything else noise wise so who cares.

Sleeping with someone can be a bit "odd" the first few times, but once you get comfortable with someone else in the bed I never have a problem. However, what usually causes them to have a problem with me is that I snore REALLY loud. I have tried just about everything to stop it (the strips, breathing machine, sleeping elevated, etc.) but it never seems to help.

yeah we either:

a) have me be big spoon (75% of the time)
b) have him big spoon (15% of the time)
c) he sleeps on his back, i sleep on my stomach and we have one limb overlapping each other (10% of the time)
