I had NO FUCKING idea that the VAs of Umi, Eli, and Nico voiced Sherlock, Kokoro, and Nero respectively in Milky Holmes. I mean, I can kind of hear Nico and Nero (it's still really fucking weird since Nero sounds like a boy the whole time and Nico even at her most angry just barely sounds like Nero) but the other two sound NOTHING alike.

Yeah, some of us have known about the some of the shared cast with Milky Holmes for some time. I found out about it pretty much around the same time that I got really into Love Live. Honoka's VA, Emi Nitta, also voices a character in one of the later seasons. Haven't watched Milky Holmes myself yet.

If you ever watch BanG Dream, there is literally a Milky Holmes band, as in a band consisting of 4 characters all voiced by the main 4 Milky Holmes characters. It's a deliberate thing since both are by Bushiroad. Haven't actually watched the BanG Dream anime as well despite playing the mobile game quite a lot. Heard it wasn't really that good anyways.

Actually the mobile game had a cover of the first Milky Holmes OP. Suzuko Mimori, Umi and Sherlock's VA, is still singing in it despite it being a cover. Only instead of hearing Sherlock, you're hearing "Umi".

Now going to SIF news, it was just announced on the KLab Stream that there will be a GLOBAL EXCLUSIVE Aqours Step-up Scouting starting tomorrow.

lolol that's super ironic since Sherlock is basically the same "extremely genki" archetype as Honoka, just up to 11 while the character Honoka voices in Milky Holmes is Marine, who's a "serious" archetype. It's like she and Umi switched roles. I can kind of hear that more though, since both Honoka and Marine have high feminine voices unlike Eli's soft elegant voice/Kokoro's loud obnoxious voice and Sherlock's extremely high pitched childish voice/Umi's deep mature voice. I'm really glad you shared that Umi over Sherlock voice though. That sounds utterly hilarious. Also, is there one of the second OP? I really liked that one.

The thing about Yoshino Nanjou, Eli and Kokoro's VA, is that her "Eli" voice isn't one she uses too often from what I heard of her roles. She uses her higher pitch voice more, which is closer to her normal voice, and her singing voice as well, as she's the vocalist for fripSide and sings with a fairly high pitch in their songs.

That's the only Milky Holmes cover that they've done, but they could more. They've already shown that they're not against doing more than 1 cover in a series with having already done 2 K-ON covers.

I have never paid to have the songs reselected, do they let you choose one or all songs to randomly replace? I am guessing it is all and you have to keep doing it for optimization.

Just tried and failed terribly. This isn't a fast song, but with there constantly being like 40 icons on my screen I couldn't even remotely keep up. I got far enough along for my score to be a B before I ran out of stamina.

Finally beat Hand in Hand on Expert. Also cleared the 3 times thing for some Master songs. Can't even come close for Cutie Panther, Binetsu and Navigators though :(

Reminder to get all of the Limited B-side song clears in before the event ends.

@Menji if you haven't realized it, PAX has free wi-fi but it works better when you're outside of Expo Hall. The Hyatt also has free wi-fi if you're ever there.

64-65k looks to be the cut-off for the event. I'd say go for at least 68k, with 70k being the really safe spot.
