DANT enters the dungeon, running as fast as he can to catch up with the party. On the way, encounters a group of children. He grabs a dodgeball from one of the kids and then pushes him in the mud. "Oy, kid. I'm on HERO status right now, I need this more than you." He ignores the cry of the child and books it to the Treasure Room. [1]

DANT the Lvl 2 Hero (Inventory: Dodgeball) has joined the Active Roster

Flip Trigle is literally flown in on a chopper above the tower and dropped in through the window, causing him to end up in the same chamber as everyone else while they're still looting [1]. He finds a Vorpal Idol of Earth amidst the pile of loot, and puts it in his bag.

Phase 1.5

Without warning, Giant Spiders begin dropping from the ceiling and picking off the party members who did not submit actions before the deadline. Lefty the Lout somehow manages to evade capture, and runs down the hall to meet up with the others [2].

The Machete Guy was swarmed by giant spiders and dragged into their nest kicking and screaming.

Ryoko was eviscerated by a Giant Spider. Her body is torn to shreds by millions of hungry spider children.

Looting Phase

Mr All Days Off plucks the Lich's Sceptor of Dead Kings from the pile of loot. It feels ice cold in his hands, and makes him want to die. Mr All Days Off has been Cursed [3].

GranonEX sees something shiny in the pile of loot, and decides to pick it up. Whoops, it's a Cursed Bracelet of Song. GranzonEX finds himself unable to stop humming, and unable to remove the Cursed Object [3].

ctes finds a bag with 3,000 gold inside of it. Seeing the luck the others are having, he backs off from the pile of loot and considers himself fortunate [2].

JORGE KIELBASA SANCHEZ succeeds in finding the Tackiest Tie in the World. Not only that, it's Enchanted and counts as a piece of Armor [1]! Lucky!

JeffRaze loots a Quantum Powertap and installs it into his Science Gun, then. . . Woah, what's this? Whoops! BANG [3]! The Quantum Powertap overloads his gun, blowing it up in the process. He loses his gun and the powertap. Unlucky. . .

Genesis finds an ornate chest and pops it open. Inside is a Necklace of Shapeshifting (Bears). She Equips the Necklace [1]. Lucky!

Maniac finds a sweet looking helm with a pulsating red gem. Maniac equips the Cursed Helm of Blood Brain [3].

Phase 3 Begins

"Alright, lets focus our attention on getting that door open now!", the Frat Boy drunkenly announces.

As the party turns their attention to the Iron Gate, which is making a suspiciously loud CREAAAKing noise. Oh, what's this? It opened on it's own.

"Hmhmhm, it seems throwing our Banquet in the Tower of the Mind-Eaters was a good idea after all. It seems entertainment and dessert has arrived!", says a pale figure seated at the end of a long dinner table. There are guests seated on each side of him, all as pale as the last. They drink a bright red liquid from wine glasses and feast on portions of . . . Well, you're not sure you want to think about what they're eating.

"Hello adventurers! I am Lord Blood, King of the Night Vampires! And you. . . Are as good as dead!"

Lord Blood leaps across the length of the dinner table, landing at the end of it, and draws a sword that flickers with a cursed black flame. The other vampire guests rise from their seats and quickly rush the party with dinnerware and super strength, turning the entire chamber into chaos quickly. Mass combat has erupted!

Lord Blood hangs back, waiting for Mass Combat to end before engaging the party.
A swam of vampires has engaged the party in combat. . .

What do you do?

[Note: In Mass Combat there is only Life and Death. Characters who take an action have a 50% chance to either succeed or be killed in combat. This can be circumvented however; Characters who own a Melee Weapon will automatically succeed on their first check they would normally fail (In Combat Only), but the weapon breaks. Characters who own a ranged weapon have a normal 1/3 roll, as it's easier for them to stay out of the thick of combat. Characters who have Armor will survive the first check that would normally kill them (in or out of combat). Additionally, it's possible to attempt to Retreat which counts as a normal 1/3 action. However, as the passage is blocked by giant spiders, your Retreat action must acknowledge the giant spiders in some way.]

[Note: Lord Blood cannot be targeted directly as he is not involved in the current combat.]

You see, Jeff's Jolteon has been known to Pikachu its way into all kinds of... jail time.

LORD BLOOD starts cackling maniacally, and dancing on top of the dinner table while doing this



"You fools! Once the clock strikes midnight, our power will grow to such a level that you cannot stop us!"

"Oh yeah? Stop THIS!", JeffRaze says, hitting the switch on his Actualized Theological Resonators that he just invented. Even I, the author, have no idea what these actually do. However, they start ripping vampires to shreds, giving a morale boost to the team and causing everyone else to snap into action [1].

jdizzy jumps into the fray, using a mix of dancing and kicking techniques as he fends off the vampires [1], keeping them away from Dante as he lights his dodgeball on fire. Meanwhile, Genesis shapeshifts into a bear. "oh god a bear!", scream the vampires. They register her as the greatest threat on the battlefield and start to swarm her. Genesis was stabbed to death by a horde of vampires [2].

ctes can be seen swinging his bag of gold like crazy, using it as a bludgeoning weapon to cave in the skulls of any vampires that get too close [1]. Suddenly, Bloody Tears starts playing a someone Granzon transforms his cursed object into a blessed object through sheer force of being badass and calling on Castlevania to kill vampires [1]. The morale of the team is boosted!

jdizzy starts dancing faster than ever, amplifying his attacks with the rhythm of the song. He is joined by Tom who uses his martial arts monk expertise to start beating the hell out of vampires with his bare hands despite the fact that I'm fairly sure that have super strength [1].

Eddy rushes at the spiders who are approaching from the west passage, smashing at them with his Beer Pong Table. By the time he finishes his frenzied attack, the table has been shattered. But, he survived, and managed to clear a path for the cavalry charge [2].

Just then, the Vampires activated their super speed ability (11:11 PM). A whir of lightning-fast vampire attacks fills the hall, cutting down Maniac. JORGE is targeted as well, but manages to survive thanks to his Tacky Tie which a vampire somehow drinks the blood of instead of drinking JORGE's blood.

Cyclo attempts to call for back-up from the FBI, but his phone is out of batteries [2]. Still, he wanders onto the battlefield and somehow manages to avoid getting killed. He levels up just because of the sheer amount of EXP from all the dead vampires.

Natwaf rushes to the battle, attempting to provide support. He tries to cast Control Vampire, but it fails [2].

MegaWentEvil tries to mimic Sonic's superspeed and rush into the fray to help slay the vampires. He runs into a wall really fast and kills himself [3].

Dante throws his flaming dodgeball and misses. Whoops [2]. Flip Trigle asks a vampire his opinion on Obamacare. This causes the vampire to get caught in a 300 post argument with Ulti and Smartmuffin, which leads to him committing suicide [1]. Flip Level'd Up!

Jeff Zero orders Volteon to Thundershock! He gets a little singed in the process himself, but manages to take out some vampires in the process [1]. Lefty the Lout attempts to disguise himself as a crucifix and sneak into the dining hall. He's promptly killed [2].

Mr. All Days Off bludgeons some enemies to death with his cursed artifact, not letting a minor thing like being cursed slow him down [1]. By the time the bloodshed clears, only LORD BLOOD is left standing. He slashes forward with his cursed sword, causing the entire chamber to erupt in black flames.

Stay away from Lord Blood, and cast a spell to protect the party from Negative (undead) energy attacks like the black flames and Blood's cursed sword. If there's time, raise dead to swarm and overwhelm blood after the shields are up.
