Natwaf

"let me help you, magician of the future", Natwaf offers to JeffRaze. He jiggles the handle to Door #5, causing it to pop open successfully. Nice! What's not so nice is the Metal Blade trap that triggers on the other side, slicing off Natwaf's shoulder and everything above them in the process. His body flops to the ground in two pieces [3]. Welp.

Oh, there's a treasure chest inside though! But wait, it's blocked by a series of whirling metal blades. It could be dangerous trying to reach the treasure chest.

Pirate King

Pirate King loots ctes gold and Natwaf's head successfully [1]. He melts the gold onto Natwaf's head in a strange voodoo ritual, reviving him as a GOLD GOLEM.

Phase 5

After scrambling onto the elevator, the exhausted party members lay down their arms and rest their sore limbs. Jeff Zero crawls onto the metal platform and scurries into the corner, curling up into a ball. "I don't like this place!", he cries.

The party, now consisting of more than one undead member, readies themselves to pull the lever. Suddenly, a group of children approaches. "hey, you almost left a piece of trash behind!", one of the little snots yells as he flings DANT onto the elevator.

"ha ha what a worthless hero!"
"please don't litter the dungeon with your ugly, useless trash in the future!"

they continue to jeer at him, then pelt him with the Dodgeball. "Here, keep it, ya loser! It's a sucky weapon anyway!"

The Million Dollar Mr All Days Off hangs his head in shame at being allied with such a comrade. Just then, the elevator begins to ascend. All seems to be going well, almost as if they were no longer in a dark and bloody house of murder that was the home to brain-eating monstrosities. Until. . . 'that' happened.

"Hm? What's that thing?", edwardsdv asked curiously, pointing at this weird yellow object that just fell onto the shaft. Just then a weird hissing noise started to rise from beneath the creature. The floor of the elevator was melting out beneath the gross yellow blob.

"Watch out! Acid slimes!", shouted JeffRaze. "Don't let them touch you, and try to kill them before they burn through the ground!"

That's right, kids, Acid Slimes. They are smile monsters made of a corrosive acid that burns through anything it touches. And they're dropping from up above the elevator shaft in groups of two or three at a time. Better watch out!

The Sixth Phase
[Note: 1 = Success, 2 = Death]

"now I'll show you the way to deal with Acid Slimes!", JeffRaze announced, cackling maniacally as he withdraws his switch of destruction. He takes out the batteries and hurls them at a group of acid slimes that come sliding down the side of the elevator shaft toward him. WHOOSH! They go up in flames, however, he fails to step out of the way and one of the flaming slimes lands on him, burning him badly [3]. JeffRaze was WOUNDED!

DANT has his hands full pelting the slimes with his dodgeball to keep them at bay [2]! Luckily, none of them get close thanks to his ranged weapon!

"Now I'd like to do a piece for you on the Vorpal Idol of Earth. This strange artifact has mysterious powers that come in particularly handy when dealing with Acid Slimes," narrates Flip Trigle as he withdraws the artifact and aims it at one of the acid slimes about to swallow Dante. An invisible force rips through the creature, splattering it to pieces [1]!

Tom activates PUNCH ARTS; WAVE FIST. He gathers his ki into his palm and then blasts away the acid slimes for a moment with a wave of solid force. "Whew, that should give us a moment's rest. . . [1]"

"How long do you think before they'll be back?", asks UNJORGE. Before anyone can answer him, one of the Acid Slimes lands right on UNJORGE's head. There's a sick hissing and crackling as his skull is melted clean through and his brains start running down his torso [2].

"crap, crap, crap, crap", Granzon furiously pounds on his laptop, sitting in the corner crying, trying to get it to overheat so he can focus a blast of heat energy at the slimes. They close on him and start to pile on him. His flesh is melted off of his bones as he still furiously struggles to get his laptop to overheat [2]. Then, even worse, they melt through his hard drive, destroying all of his anime.

edwards picks up the acid slime that had just melted off UNJORGE's head, plopping it into his mouth and eating it [1]. It was too late to save UNJORGE, but the damn thing was delicious. Nobody questions how edwards was able to eat an extremely corrosive enemy because he has the WINNING ability.

The Million Dollar Mr All Days Off throws a flying legdrop at the group of slimes that are eating Granzon's corpse as he imagines Real American playing in the background. He hopes to no sell the acidic properties of the enemies and all that good stuff, but that's not what happens at all [2]. He basically jumps into a vat of living acid and melts himself to death.

"Jolteon, use HELPING HAND!", Jeff Zero commands. Jolteon dashes about, avoiding the slimes masterfully and holding their attention. He then blasts what is left of the batteries that JeffRaze threw with an electric shock, causing a miniature explosion that wipes out a number of the slimes as well as part of the wall [1].

Pirate King stands back to back with Jeff Zero, throwing salt at the slimes to keep them at bay while Jeff is unprotected. This has the unpredicted effected of turning them into acid bombs. Luckily, they aren't close enough to be hit by the acid. Even more lucky, when you turn an enemy into a bomb they tend not to live through that [1].

"STAND. BACK.", the GOLD GOLEM says in a mechanical tone. "I. SHALL. DEFEND. YOU."

as he walks directly into the acid bombs [2].

"alright guys, let's boogie! the next floor is only a few more yards up!", says jdizzy. The party agrees. Slimes are still swarming the elevator, and parts of the floor have been melted away. Still, if they can survive for just a few more seconds. . .

WHOOSH! The elevator suddenly speeds up, accelerating toward a spike trap hidden in the ceiling above. "EVERYBODY JUMP!", screamed Pirate King.

jdizzy backed up to the edge of the platform and ready to hold the slimes off so his companions could escape. One by one, JeffRaze, Tom the Monk, Jeff Zero, DANT, Flip, edwads, and Pirate King rushed past him, leaping off the edge of the moving platform and landing below safely in the Floor 2 Entrance Hall.

There wasn't much of a gap left, but if he could push the slimes back, he'd stop them from swarming the floor 2 Hallways.

jdizzy spun on the ground, kicking outward with his legs as he breakdanced, summoning the force of a massive dance tornado that ripped through the group of slimes, pushing them back. "yes! i'm doing it! it's workin-"

CRUNCH!

jdizzy missed the gap, and was slammed into the spiked ceiling. his heroic sacrifice will not be forgotten [2].

In the Floor Two Entrance Hall, DANT cried manly tears for his fallen companion. He gripped his dodgeball tightly to his chest, swearing to become a better hero.

Phase Six has ended.

Awards

Most Unexpected Survivor: DANT the Hero. He somehow managed to last through the majority of the game without dying (I think he only missed Phase 1?) despite only succeeding ONE check the entire game. +2,000 points to his score.

MVP: Gotta go with Flip Trigle on this one. I'm pretty sure he succeeded every single check in the game except for one or two. JeffRaze had a strong start but then started to roll a lot of 2's and even 3's once he hit level 5 (which was enough to keep him alive). Jeff Zero is another good candidate but he had a Jolteon the entire time which is basically an extra life, so I'm going to give the edge to the guy who did it all carrying nothing but useless treasure. +2,000 points to his score.

Most Undead: Well, Pirate King is the only zombie who made it to the end. I was really hoping for a double revive on someone by the end. Oh well. +2,000 for him.

[Well, that was fun. Can't wait to see how well you adventurers fare on the Second Floor! Coming to a Board 8 near you, soon. . .]

All of your stats, good and bad, will carry over. I'm actually planning on making the monsters on Floor 2 pack a bigger punch anyway, so the Wound doesn't mean much right now. They'd kill someone at Level 5 either way (wounded or not) in a single shot.

Fun Facts?:

o The players who died in the Sixth Phase would have boosted the total party score by an additional 16,000
o An average of 3.33333333 party members died in any given phase. This is oddly congruent with the 1 in 3 chance of death!
o The highest number of deaths was in the Sixth Phase, and the lowest was in the Fourth.
o The Fourth Phase was the biggest statistical anomaly, considering only 1 person died despite a dozen or more players making checks that had a 50% rate of death. [EDIT: Wait, never mind. I was confusing the Fourth with the Third. Even still, LORD BLOOD totally should have killed more than 1 person. That was crazy luck.]
