Well, I got 9th in the tourney I went to. My two losses were to the first place and third place guys, so I guess not that bad.

Although the 3rd place guy played Cody, and in the final round we played (with it tied at 1 game and 1 round each) he did his slide kick thing, and I did the heavy punch 360. It wasn't enough to kill, and he did a bingo to kill me after. Had I ultra'd, I would've won and moved on. Augh regrets.

I also lost the one match I played on that stream, to an Evil Ryu. That was the first good Evil Ryu I've ever played against, he had combos with really high stun. I did get the loudest reaction of the tournament when I had almost no life and the Evil Ryu guy had half life, and I did an ultra to win a round. <_<

one thing I like about SF4's netcode is that people don't blame lag for losses as much. dude refuses to block down on his wakeup and eats supers all day and then complains about lag and boots me. so lame.

Mr. Wizard has said they won't be banned at Evo. If Capcom ever patches the game again I would expect them to be removed, but that's looking very unlikely.

I never liked Marvel 3 to begin with! I wish they still played Marvel 2. I never played that, but it's more fun to watch.

actually the thing I'm most excited about this Evo is the ST tournament of legends. that looks sick and there's a lot of good names there. wish they would keep running the old games that people still play (so basically ST and 3s) every year.

Well if I recall correctly you didn't watch Marvel at the last major (or rather you stopped watching). Then again why pass up an opportunity to say something negative!

That being said though, all these infinites popping up sucks. TACs are probably my least favorite part of the game and now being able to perform infinites off of them is just ugh. Marvel is my favorite game to watch with most of my favorite FGC personalities, I hope these don't ruin it for me.

I don't know why I bother playing online, just irritates me. jungle strike + can't see startup frames + the other dude taunts at the end, like doing full screen mixups and random supers in lag is some sort of accomplishment
