I've never tried jungle Ali. I'm 'ok' at best with him as a support. My laning phase is much worse than that of my other supports, but my teamfighting tends to be pretty decent.

Boots and pots, wolves -> blue, once you hit level two always be trampling.

Build Boots5/Philo/HoG/Sheen into Boots5/Shurie's/Randuin's/Triforce/whatever else.

Gank early and often, and use pushed lanes for W's into a tower. I like Flash/Smite for easier W positioning.

If your lane phase is bad with Alistar but teamfighting is good, definitely try Jungle Ali. It's all of the killing parts with none of the supporting.

Use whatever Jungle/AD runepage you already have set up. For Masteries, I use this weird runepage that's something like 8/10/12, but as long as you grab the armor, buff duration, and MS masteries you're good.

hm see that's the thing. I don't actually have a jungle rune page. Closest I have is AD/Armor/Scaling MR/MS. A jungler rune page(With AS marks) is what I plan on getting as soon as I finish my Support rune page. And at level 25 with my AD I failed misreably at jungling...Then again I didn't have any sort of leash so...Eh.

What route is best? Should I get any AP for him? Are there any 'tricks' I should know for jungle ali? What build? My main role is support and I've slowly picked up just a couple junglers (Yi, Amumu, Maokai, and Jarvan from best to worth with how good I am with them). I'm guessing I should play him sort of like Maokai?

Alistar Rune Page goes as following

Attack Speed Reds
Armor Yellows
Cooldown Blues(Or MR Blues)
Move Speed quints


Your sole purpose as Jungle Alistar is to give all of your lanes the biggest lead humanly possible. You want to dominate lane and let that snowball into easy mid game wins. Jungle Alistar does not scale well so you can't play the farm game.

Because of this I rush Move speed+5 boots and then Philo/HOG. You also want to get Oracles if you get some early kills.

Path is the following: Start whichever Buff is near Top Lane, take it, then gank top lane. Tell your Top Laner to go aggro from Level 1 so by the time you get there they're both low. Come from River and headbutt them(make sure to get the auto attack in from Headbutt). When they flash, YOU flash and Pop them up.


They big mistake I see SO MANY people make is that they pop up and auto attack in the same position. When you pop up you want to move ahead of the enemy. This makes it harder for them to escape because they have to run around you while you're auto attacking them.

Realo, what about if your top has a weak level 1 and they can't really harass much before you get there?

Silly SR people, revive is OP on dominion.

Revive is pretty much the flash of dominion. The extra person advantage is huge. It's also no secret the AI is absolutely horrible on dominion. You think SR AI is bad? At one point people won games NAKED vs the AI in dominion and I'm not entirely sure it's been fixed.

Troll build would be smite/clarity, for the record. Ironically enough, the next weakest summoner spell is actually flash.

That's like picking Kog Maw with a Leona Support; you're basically gibbing yourself. Jungle Alistar is something you pick when you have High CC or high damage in Top Lane and you can just camp it over and over.

For instance: When my team picks Riven I always jungle Alistar. Always. Level 2 First Blood is guaranteed. She's aggro from level 1 anyways. The second she hits level 2 I headbbutt, she stuns, I pop, she QQQ, Ignite, First Blood. It never fails. Even if the enemy is playing safe they can't stop it because I can just flash headbutt/pulverize and there's nothing they can do to stop it.


If you're first picking a jungle Alistar make sure to tell your top laner what the plan is. Mid Lane champs all have enough burst to kill so it doesn't matter. Bottom Lane has 2 people so the kill is pretty easy anyways. Top Lane is the lane that works best with Ali.


If you get an Early Oracles on Jungle Alistar, your top lane wins 99% of the time simply because the enemy top laner can't do ANYTHING. You can freeze the lane in the middle and the enemy can't move an inch because Headbutt Pulverize is a retarded combo that leaves you stunned and immobile for 2.5 seconds.

3. Yeah his farming is total ass.

You think SR AI is bad? At one point people won games NAKED vs the AI in dominion and I'm not entirely sure it's been fixed.

I'd be shocked if that wasn't doable on SR too. I've 1v5'd the AI on SR so yeah I'd think 5v5 with no gear would be easier than that.

I mean I get the point the AI is worse in dominion I'm just saying you may be overestimating it on SR.

AP Ezreal has no CC because if he did he'd be broken beyond belief. His DPS is not only high but unbelievably safe. Once he gets Goddess Tear and Rylais you'll never get close enough to hit him while he's always able to hit you.

If you've ever been at a turret that's being shoved down by a team with AP Ezreal you know the pain. Ult comes out and 1-2 people are down to half health. Qs and Ws are flying around like crazy because blue buff lowers the CD to nothing.

I personally think he's the highest skilled champion in the game because his DPS is so dependent on landing skillshots and unlike Cassie he doesn't have a targeted followup or a mana passive or an ult that guarantees positioning.

The only thing that actually bugged me about him was the farming. Everything else seemed fine, and when I started getting some AP his ult started doing absolutely absurd damage. The farming was terrible, though, clearing minions was basically impossible.

I heard that a decent strategy is firing his ult straight down mid lane whenever you recall, as it gives you free farm and by the time you get back to the actual lanes the ult is back up. Might have to test with that.

Uhhh...with mana regen runes and masteries and Goddess Tear you should be spamming Q whenever possible. Makes farming easier. Ezreal can't shove so he's susceptible to mids like Morgana/Cassie/Ahri/Gragas who can shove mid and then roam.

His Laning Phase is AWFUL but good lord after that. The only AP mid I can think of with a stupider Poke Game is Kog maw. But Kog Maw is much less safe.
