I can't tell you how many times I've walked home from somewhere blackout drunk and don't actually remember going home. The only proof I have is waking up in my own bed.

My sister managed to drive herself home drunk at least a half dozen times before she finally got pulled over for it. No one ever deserved a DUI more than her. She at least did stop after she lost her license for eighteen months, though.

As for me, I have a terrible sense of direction.

For some reason when I black out and somehow wander home I always make sure to take off my pants before going to sleep. Thing is, I don't ever make it under my covers and half the time wake up on the couch early in the morning.

The one night I still can't figure out is when I blacked out at a bar. My blackout started when I was waiting in line to buy drinks, which apparently I bought like 5 or so. Thing is, I woke up with all my money still in my wallet and no charges on my card...

i woke up in jail once after a night of drinking and was flipping out because i knew i had coke on me...my friend in there with me immediately came over to me and was like 'dude you somehow in your state of waste masterfully convinced the cops that it wasnt yours and that you had taken it away from this belligerent guy at the bar who was going nuts on it. it was beautifully charismatic and every time they tried to poke holes in your story you had something for them. by the end they completely believed you and even shook your hand for your actions'

never heard anything about the coke again from the cops

my favorite:
left a party at like 1:30 AM that was like, 4 blocks away from my apartment; buddy had decided to be a b**** and not walk me to my place since "he had to be home by 2," even though his parents didn't give two s***s
woke up at around 9 AM in my bed, with no memory of anything after the party and with vomit on the sheets and ground; had to vomit some more
looked at my phone and ended up talking to my dad and finding out that he was freaking out and calling me from 2 to 5 AM trying to figure out where the f*** I was since I wasn't in my room
then since it was mother's day my mom picked me up and I had to keep making excuses as to why I didn't want to get lunch since I was on the verge of vomiting even more

Actually in most places it's perfectly legal. Cops will only pick you up if it looks like you aren't able to get home safe on your own, and even then they'll just hold you overnight and won't charge you with anything.

Also, Kudos to the TC for not driving(at least doesn't seem like he did). Anyone that drives drunk is absolute scum and deserves more than the slap on the wrist we give them :/
