A member of my guild in World of Warcraft lives in Hawaii and I guess they don't do DST, so our raid times have moved an hour and now he's going to be an hour late every raid day.

Because I worked until 10 the night it happened, got home at 11 and had to wake up at 5 the next morning for work at 6. Also note that I can't sleep the moment I get home.

DST stole a very precious hour of sleep from me. I am entitled to complain about that unnatural time process for one-two days a year, and jump in joy for the day that I get an extra hour of sleep.

The heart attack rate on the day after springing forward an hour is supposedly higher by a significant number.

DST is a useless practice that gets people killed.

I'm pretty sure there's more studies against it than for it these days, but nobody wants to abolish it because "it's tradition" or something similar.

Also at least half of my electronic devices do not adjust for DST, and because I'm so meticulous about getting the time right on them down to the second, and because most devices only let you set for the hour and minute, I could literally spend over five minutes just looking at a clock and occasionally pressing a "confirm" button.

That's just unacceptable.

Honestly, Id rather get rid of regular time than DST. I don't care if it's dark a little longer in the morning, I want more daylight in the afternoon/evening, not in the morning.

I agree that I wouldn't mind more morning darkness, give me enough sunlight to walk home after work plz.

Oh, DST is definitely pretty pointless, and it only really exists because of cultural inertia nowadays, but... let's not lose sight of the fact that this is a topic complaining about complainers .

Energy savings and weather. I live in Arizona, and if we followed DST, the sun would be out till 9:30 with temperatures still at 100 degrees.
