Think of the small sample size here.

The winner in this match, in practical delegation terms, means absolutely nothing.

But we're still paying attention because the media will put RIDICULOUS spin on a 1 vote victory.
We're both stats nerds, more or less; we understand how silly it sounds to put such stake in a 100,000 sample size in a country where 130 million people will vote in 11 months. That said, Rick Perry, who has a boatload of money, is dropping out because of this. Bachmann will drop out in the next few days. While I haven't seen it, I've heard that Gingrich's speech was basically him saying "I'm dropping out but damned if I ain't taking Romney with me." They're dropping like flies from this one measly result, so they obviously think it'll mean a lot.

I totally agree.

Tonight is incredibly important.

But it's not important for how many "delegates" you get. It's important for how it influences the rest of the race. It's all about how this gets spun.

I still see Romney by 14.

W was a more conservative president than Reagan.

You seem to forget that Reagan also created record deficits. And W did much much more to actually reform entitlement programs than Reagan ever did.
