RESULTS FOR DAY 7 (WORLD'S GREATEST BOSS DIVISION, PART ONE):

(1)Michael Scott (The Office) - 46 (88.46%) > (16)Will McKenzie (The Inbetweeners) - 6 (11.54%)

-This hasn't been a great contest for the 16-seeds... >_>

(9)Jeff Winger (Community) - 30 (54.55%) > (8)David Brent (The Office UK) - 25 (45.45%)

-We've been seeing British sitcom characters bomb left and right in this contest, so this was a really refreshing change of pace. Shame Brent didn't win, though; Scott vs. Brent would have been amazing.

(5)Dr. Robert Kelso (Scrubs) - 36 (55.38%) > (12)George Bluth, Sr. (Arrested Development) - 29 (44.62%)

-Oscar would have won this match if he was in George's place! /wishful thinking

(4)Philip J. Fry (Futurama) - 59 (83.1%) > (13)Roseanne Conner (Roseanne) - 12 (16.9%)

-The votals for this match were incredible. IIRC, this is our first time seeing a Futurama character in the contest, and I have a feeling the series' other reps are gonna be huge too.

How the hell did Kelso win? He's just the ridiculously stereotypical tyrannical boss who is shown to have a soft spot on rare occasions. He's not that funny...

And how is Bart Simpson the underdog to Louie? I voted for Louie because he's probably the funniest guy on the planet right now, but I would've expected Bart Simpson to get more nominations than Louie.

I actually like Kelso a lot - I think he's easily one of the best characters on Scrubs. Granted, I nonetheless like George Sr. quite a bit better, but still!

As for Bart, he didn't do nearly as well in the nomination phase as I expected. I think he only got four nominations, whereas Louie got seven or eight, IIRC. So far, it seems like a close match; I think Bart deserves to be considered the favorite, but I voted for Louie, and I'm definitely rooting for him!

RESULTS FOR DAY 8 (WORLD'S GREATEST BOSS DIVISION, PART TWO):

(6)Will Smith (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) - 54 (72%) > (11)Jeff Boomhauer (King of the Hill) - 21 (28%)

-Not only was Will a huge vote draw, he also blew out Boomhauer, who's a reasonably popular character in his own right. I have a feeling Will could win this division.

(3)Bender Bending Rodriguez (Futurama) - 68 (91.89%) > (14)Christopher Titus (Titus) - 6 (8.11%)

-But then again, Bender could too...!

(10)Bart Simpson (The Simpsons) - 49 (71.01%) > (7)Louie (Louie) - 20 (28.99%)

-As awesome as Bart is, he shouldn't have won this.

(2)The Janitor (Scrubs) - 47 (65.28%) > (15)Senor Chang (Community) - 25 (34.72%)

-Community's been having a fantastic contest so far. Jeff did well, Troy did even better... and even though they both lost, Annie and Chang nonetheless did better than I expected.

Barney Stinson - 31 (86.11%)
Henchman 21 - 5 (13.89%)

Cliff Huxtable - 19 (59.38%)
Creed Bratton - 13 (40.62%)

Phil Dunphy - 14 (43.75%)
Frank Costanza - 18 (56.25%)

Carlton Banks - 31 (83.78%)

RESULTS FOR DAY 9 (SUIT UP DIVISION, PART ONE):

(1)Barney Stinson (How I Met Your Mother) - 38 (86.36%) > (16)Henchman 21 (The Venture Bros.) - 6 (13.64%)

-Looks like Henchman 21 is one of the strongest 16-seeds. That's a dubious honor, though!

(8)Cliff Huxtable (The Cosby Show) - 22 (59.46%) > (9)Creed Bratton (The Office) - 15 (40.54%)

-Early on in the match, I was scared to death that Creed would win this, so I'm definitely relieved that Cliff won the day vote. It's not that I don't like Creed - he's my favorite Office character by far - but c'mon, it's BILL COSBY!

(12)Frank Costanza (Seinfeld) - 22 (56.41%) > (5)Phil Dunphy (Modern Family) - 17 (43.59%)

-I like Frank a lot, but you could make a great case for Phil being the GOAT, as far as sitcom characters go. I'm pretty bummed by this result.

(4)Carlton Banks (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) - 39 (86.67%) > (13)Jeffster! (Chuck) - 6 (13.33%)

-Near-identical to the Barney/H21 result. Kind of funny, if you ask me. :P

I actually do think Creed is awesome, but there's no way in hell he's more deserving of a win than Cliff. The Cosby Show is underrated, in all honesty; despite being well-known, it's usually not given all that much credit on "Best Sitcom" lists and the like, and that's a shame.

RESULTS FOR DAY 10 (SUIT UP DIVISION, PART TWO):

(6)Steven Hyde (That 70s Show) - 39 (60.94%) > (11)Leslie Knope (Parks and Recreation) - 25 (39.06%)

-Knope, we can't. :(

(3)Sterling Archer (Archer) - 40 (78.43%) > (14)Leon Black (Curb Your Enthusiasm) - 11 (21.57%)

-Really solid performance from Archer here. I doubt Leon is turbofodder or anything, so the fact that Archer tripled him means that Hyde might be in trouble next round.

(7)Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth (Futurama) - 51 (73.91%) > (10)Basil Fawlty (Fawlty Towers) - 18 (26.09%)

-Futurama is probably one of the most well-liked sitcoms on this site, right up there with Seinfeld, Scrubs and Fresh Prince. As such, Basil looks pretty impressive.

(2)Dr. Frasier Crane (Frasier) - 50 (86.21%) > (15)Bill Haverchuck (Freaks and Geeks) - 8 (13.79%)

-I'm not sure if Frasier's stronger than expected, or Bill's a lot weaker than expected... but I'm leaning towards the latter.

A mid-day update for Day 11's matches:

(1)Dr. Perry Cox - 55 (87.3%)
(16)Jake Harper - 8 (12.7%)

(8)Butters Stotch - 39 (61.9%)
(9)Lucille Bluth - 24 (38.1%)

(5)Hawkeye Pierce - 39 (88.64%)
(12)Ben Harper - 5 (11.36%)

(4)Jerry Seinfeld - 38 (53.52%)
(13)Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor - 33 (46.48%)

After seeing Wilson almost beat Marshall early in the contest, I had a feeling Jerry/Tim was going to be an explosive match. The Television: Broadcast TV board is favoring Jerry by a decent margin, but it's a tie on PotD and B8, and Television: Cable and Satellite is favoring Tim. C'mon, Tool Man upset...!

Also, it looks like Butters is the strongest South Park character in the contest. Probably by a decent margin, too.

RESULTS FOR DAY 11 (SACRED HEART DIVISION, PART ONE):

(1)Dr. Perry Cox (Scrubs) - 58 (86.57%) > (16)Jake Harper (Two and a Half Men) - 9 (13.43%)

-Seven of those nine Jake votes came from Poll of the Day. True story.

(8)Butters Stotch (South Park) - 40 (60.61%) > (9)Lucille Bluth (Arrested Development) - 26 (39.39%)

-This was supposed to be a close match, lol. Looks like Butters is the strongest South Park character in the contest.

(5)Hawkeye Pierce (M*A*S*H) - 39 (88.64%) > (12)Ben Harper (My Family) - 5 (11.36%)

-Sadly, Hawkeye's probably gonna get murdered next round... but at least he had a moment of glory first!

(4)Jerry Seinfeld (Seinfeld) - 40 (54.05%) > (13)Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor (Home Improvement) - 34 (45.95%)

-A hugely entertaining clash of the titans. If Television: Broadcast TV didn't love Jerry so much, this would have been even closer.

RESULTS FOR DAY 12 (SACRED HEART DIVISION, PART TWO):

(6)Andy Bernard (The Office) - 37 (60.66%) > (11)Uncle Ruckus (The Boondocks) - 24 (39.34%)

-If A Pimp Named Slickback was here instead of Ruckus, Andy wouldn't have won. I guarantee it. :P

(3)Dennis Reynolds (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - 36 (58.06%) > (14)The Todd (Scrubs) - 26 (41.94%)

-The TV boards barely supported The Todd at all, but he was much more popular on the social boards. I really thought an upset was going to happen for a while.

(7)Dr. Christopher Turk (Scrubs) - 36 (54.55%) > (10)Cotton Hill (King of the Hill) - 30 (45.45%)

-Hank and Boomhauer may have bombed, but Cotton did great here. Makes me feel really optimistic about Dale's chances against The Fonz next round.

(2)Homer Simpson (The Simpsons) - 60 (83.33%) > (15)Monica Geller (Friends) - 12 (16.67%)

-Homer did better against Monica than Al Bundy did against Phoebe. Very impressive result.

RESULTS FOR DAY 13 (COULD I *BE* ANY MORE OF A DIVISION?, PART ONE)

(1)Chandler Bing (Friends) - 44 (73.33%) > (16)Rodney Ruxin (The League) - 16 (26.67%)

-All things considered, this is a great performance from Ruxin. I wonder if he'd beat Phoebe?

(9)Burton "Gus" Guster (Psych) - 33 (75%) > (8)Ricky (Trailer Park Boys) - 11 (25%)

-I think it's safe to say Ricky is one of the weakest characters in the bracket. Seriously, ouch.

(5)Frank Reynolds (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - 29 (53.7%) > (12)Norm Peterson (Cheers) - 25 (46.3%)

-Ah, bollocks! I really wanted Norm to win. Television: Broadcast TV really favored Frank, though.

(4)Abed Nadir (Community) - 38 (66.67%) > (13)Earl Hickey (My Name is Earl) - 19 (33.33%)

-Community's grown on me a lot since I first watched it, but I still can't stand this guy. Give me Pierce or Shirley over him any day!

RESULTS FOR DAY 14 (COULD I *BE* ANY MORE OF A DIVISION?, PART TWO):

(6)Zapp Brannigan (Futurama) - 44 (67.69%) > (11)George Jefferson (The Jeffersons) - 21 (32.31%)

-George Jefferson performed better than I expected. I'm proud of you, GameFAQs!

(3)Dr. John "JD" Dorian (Scrubs) - 33 (55%) > (14)April Ludgate (Parks and Recreation) - 27 (45%)

-Almost every 14-seed has looked golden, and April was no exception. If I had to guess, she benefitted quite a bit from Ron Swanson's presence, as he probably brought more P&R fans into the topic.

(7)Eric Matthews (Boy Meets World) - 41 (77.36%) > (10)Charlie Harper (Two and a Half Men) - 12 (22.64%)

-LMAO. Despite being a lowly 16-seed, Jake might actually be a stronger entrant than Charlie, whose tiger blood has seemingly been replaced with sloth blood.

(2)Ron Swanson (Parks and Recreation) - 51 (92.73%) > (15)Jeremy "Jez" Osborne (Peep Show) - 4 (7.27%)

-Every single vote for Jez came from Poll of the Day. True story.

RESULTS FOR DAY 15 (GOBIAS INDUSTRIES DIVISION, PART ONE):

(1)GOB (Arrested Development) - 41 (70.69%) > (16)Steve Urkel (Family Matters) - 17 (29.31%)

-I wonder who'd win in a match-up between Urkel and Ruxin - they were definitely the most impressive 16-seeds, IMO! Sadly, this is kind of an underperformance from GOB, and he's the underdog against Zoidberg at the moment.

(8)Shawn Spencer (Psych) - 24 (51.06%) > (9)Coach John McGuirk (Home Movies) - 23 (48.94%)

-Amazing match, awful end result. I never liked Shawn in the slightest (though Gus rules), and McGuirk is ****ing awesome.

(5)Dr. Niles Crane (Frasier) - 42 (82.35%) > (12)Dr. John Becker (Becker) - 9 (17.65%)

-As much as I love Niles, I voted for Becker. Poor dude deserved some support - Becker was a good show!

(4)Dr. John Zoidberg (Futurama) - 49 (74.24%) > (13)Arthur Spooner (The King of Queens) - 17 (25.76%)

-This division is the Zoid's to lose.

Mid-day results for Day 16:

(6)Tom Haverford - 23 (46.94%)
(11)Elaine Benes - 26 (53.06%)

(3)Larry David - 27 (58.7%)
(14)Tracy Jordan - 19 (41.3%)

(7)Dale Gribble - 36 (69.23%)
(10)Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli - 16 (30.77%)

(2)Tobias Funke - 33 (62.26%)
(15)Eric Forman - 20 (37.74%)

Tom/Elaine has been really close; Elaine had the early vote, but Tom's been doing better these past few hours. Aside from that, we have a KotH character finally doing well; a great performance from Tracy Jordan (who'd be winning if not for B8); and a rubbish performance from Tobias. Maybe I'm underestimating Eric, but it really seems like Tobias is laying an egg here. From the looks of it, I'd be surprised if he even got past Dale next round.

RESULTS FOR DAY 16 (GOBIAS INDUSTRIES DIVISION, PART TWO):

(11)Elaine Benes (Seinfeld) - 30 (54.55%) > (6)Tom Haverford (Parks and Recreation) - 25 (45.45%)

-Elaine broke the "female character curse"! Woohoo!

(3)Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm) - 32 (61.54%) > (14)Tracy Jordan (30 Rock) - 20 (38.46%)

-Tracy actually won Poll of the Day and Television: Broadcast TV, which really surprised me. B8 absolutely mauled him, though.

(7)Dale Gribble (King of the Hill) - 41 (69.49%) > (10)Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli (Happy Days) - 18 (30.51%)

-It's been a rough contest for King of the Hill, but Dale did a great job here. 70% on Fonzie is serious business.

(2)Tobias Funke (Arrested Development) - 38 (63.33%) > (15)Eric Forman (That 70s Show) - 22 (36.67%)

-The first two AD characters in Round One, Buster and George Sr., looked solid... but the other characters have had pretty underwhelming performances. Tobias is no exception, apparently.

RESULTS FOR DAY 17 (MOOPS DIVISION, PART THREE):

(1)George Costanza (Seinfeld) - 48 (75%) > (8)Ted Buckland (Scrubs) - 16 (25%)

(4)Mac (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - 32 (60.38%) > (12)Mr. Feeny (Boy Meets World) - 21 (39.62%)

-I expected Feeny to win here... and instead, he only did slightly better than Andy Dwyer did against Mac. What an absolutely baffling result.

(3)Marshall Eriksen (How I Met Your Mother) - 29 (51.79%) > (11)Jack Donaghy (30 Rock) - 27 (48.21%)

-An unexpectedly close match. Jack actually would have crushed Marshall, if not for the fact that Board 8 seemingly hates 30 Rock.

(2)Dwight Schrute (The Office) - 30 (53.57%) > (7)Buster Bluth (Arrested Development) - 26 (46.43%)

(3)Troy Barnes (Community) - 39 (60.94%) > (11)Geoffrey Butler (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) - 25 (39.06%)

-I wouldn't be surprised if most people saw this as an upset! This is a great performance from Troy, and though I think a Troy > Kramer upset is far-fetched, I think Troy could very well get 45% or so on him, or at least 40%.

(2)Cosmo Kramer (Seinfeld) - 46 (66.67%) > (7)Randy Marsh (South Park) - 23 (33.33%)

-Nothing unpredictable here. Both characters did as expected: Kramer got to look impressive, while Randy didn't get totally blown out or anything.

RESULTS FOR DAY 20 (WORLD'S GREATEST BOSS DIVISION, PART THREE):

(1)Michael Scott (The Office) - 43 (76.79%) > (9)Jeff Winger (Community) - 13 (23.21%)

-I bet David Brent would have done way better than Jeff.

(4)Philip J. Fry (Futurama) - 42 (66.67%) > (5)Dr. Robert Kelso (Scrubs) - 21 (33.33%)

-This was supposed to be a close match. Instead, Fry doubled Kelso. This is a champion-level performance.

(3)Bender Bending Rodriguez (Futurama) - 40 (62.5%) > (6)Will Smith (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) - 24 (37.5%)

-Bender looked almost as impressive as Fry here! Will did phenomenal in Round One, so I'm surprised he didn't put up more of a fight.

(2)The Janitor - 37 (56.92%) > (10)Bart Simpson (The Simpsons) - 28 (43.08%)

-The only match of the day that wasn't a blowout. Bart probably benefitted from the presence of the Futurama duo, but even still, this isn't a great performance from The Janitor.

RESULTS FOR DAY 21 (SUIT UP DIVISION, PART THREE):

(1)Barney Stinson (How I Met Your Mother) - 49 (73.13%) > (8)Cliff Huxtable (The Cosby Show) - 18 (26.87%)

-This is definitely a legen-wait for it-dary performance from Barney. Cliff tied him on the Television: Cable and Satellite board, but on the other three boards, the winner was obvious.

(4)Carlton Banks (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) - 40 (63.49%) > (12)Frank Costanza (Seinfeld) - 23 (36.51%)

-Phil Dunphy is better than either one of these characters, though. :P

(3)Sterling Archer (Archer) - 34 (50.75%) > (6)Steven Hyde (That 70s Show) - 33 (49.25%)

-This was a tie when the match was supposed to end, but someone on Television: Broadcast TV finally broke up the tie twenty minutes later. A truly stunning upset, and one that completely makes up for the similarly close Shawn > McGuirk result!

(7)Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth (Futurama) - 37 (55.22%) > (2)Dr. Frasier Crane (Frasier) - 30 (44.78%)

-Good news, everyone! ...oh wait, Frasier didn't win. Never mind. :(

RESULTS FOR DAY 22 (SACRED HEART DIVISION, PART THREE):

(1)Dr. Perry Cox (Scrubs) - 38 (65.52%) > (8)Butters Stotch (South Park) - 20 (34.48%)

-I guess both characters look alright here. It's pretty obvious Dr. Cox is doomed when he faces Homer, though.

(4)Jerry Seinfeld (Seinfeld) - 25 (53.19%) > (5)Hawkeye Pierce (M*A*S*H) - 22 (46.81%)

-We were SO CLOSE to having one of the best upsets possible in the contest. Dang. I'm still proud of GameFAQs for supporting Hawkeye so much, though - I believe he did even better against Jerry than Tim Taylor did.

(3)Dennis Reynolds (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - 28 (63.64%) > (6)Andy Bernard (The Office) - 16 (36.36%)

-It's scary how much Television: Broadcast TV loves Always Sunny. Dennis got more votes on that board alone than Andy got overall.

(2)Homer Simpson - 43 (69.35%) > (7)Dr. Christopher Turk - 19 (30.65%)

-This site sure loves its animated sitcoms! Homer didn't let himself get outdone by Fry or Bender, as he easily doubled Turk. I honestly though this match would be a 55-45 affair, so I'm really surprised.

RESULTS FOR DAY 23 (COULD I *BE* ANY MORE OF A DIVISION?, PART THREE):

(1)Chandler Bing (Friends) - 39 (68.42%) > (9)Burton "Gus" Guster (Psych) - 18 (31.58%)

-Yet another 1-seed performance that's neither impressive nor unimpressive.

(4)Abed Nadir (Community) - 34 (65.38%) > (5)Frank Reynolds (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - 18 (34.62%)

-It's amazing how inconsistent Always Sunny characters are in this contest. One day after Dennis Reynolds managed to look like one of Round Two's stars, Frank went out and looked like one of the round's biggest bombs. I get that Abed is the fan favorite on Community, but still, this is a terrible performance from Frank.

(3)Dr. John "JD" Dorian (Scrubs) - 35 (53.85%) > (6)Zapp Brannigan (Futurama) - 30 (46.15%)

-Even more baffling than the Abed/Frank blowout. Maybe people were getting tired of the Futurama dominance, I don't know... but either way, this is a big upset in my eyes, regardless of what the seeds say.

(2)Ron Swanson (Parks and Recreation) - 32 (60.38%) > (7)Eric Matthews (Boy Meets World) - 21 (39.62%)

-If it was up to the other three boards, Eric actually would have won this match, albeit only by a single vote. On Board 8, though, he bombed in hilarious fashion, netting only a single vote (compared to Ron's 13). Crisis averted!

My thoughts exactly. Chandler single-handedly makes that show tolerable.

Also, I'm absolutely floored to see that Niles/Zoidberg is currently a toss-up. I think Futurama is officially being anti-voted.
