Man, this season just isn't clicking with me. Watching this group has been rough. And yes, that includes Lauren. I still adore her as a person, but she's not as good of a player as the edit makes it seem. Morgan is obsessed with getting her out (Morgan annoys me - and Vince - accordingly), and apparently (feeds spoilers) Ava overheard Lauren and Ashley talking about Ava potentially being expendable. So Lauren is digging herself a hole. Watching that has been frustrating.

I haven't really kept up with the episodes but Mickey is still obnoxious with her HoHitis. She thinks she's running shit still to a point that even Morgan and Ashley want nothing to do with her strategically. Mickey doesn't actually have any friends and was set to be a unanimous boot until she won Veto.

Also Rylie sucks and didn't do exit press because he sucks. Wimp couldn't deal with the inevitable questions about violating Katherine's boundaries. There's a reason that "showmance" was hardly in the edit - Katherine made it very clear to him that she takes six months before she even decides she likes somebody, while he just wanted to elope with her ASAP and start making babies. She felt trapped by the game and didn't want to reject him because she knew he'd throw a childish tantrum where "fuck" was every third word out of his mouth. And she couldn't hide without production removing him... and losing that shield would've been bad for her. She also was taken by his charm to some extent, but she also played it up for production. (It would not surprise me if jury started tomorrow since, with Katherine on the block, BB might want to protect her from Rylie stalking her. Another month of cooldown time should help.)

It pains me to say that Rachel is the most interesting thing about this season, since I hate the lone returnee twist, but... I gotta wonder how dull this season would be without her. Maybe it would be better, akin to what darkx said about BB24 othering Taylor being the center of the storyline, but maybe it would be the most boring season ever. I'm leaning toward the latter, though. This cast just isn't clicking. We're not seeing much about them as people and the gameplay has been pretty weird.

Also, Rachel didn't get put up because Morgan did her math with M&Ms (as she does) with Vince and they thought they didn't have the votes to get her out. Plus, she might still win BlockBuster, and they didn't want to deal with the wrath of Rachel. You take a shot at her, you can't miss - and that's about the only thing they have right about her style of gameplay. For some reason they think she's some kind of master manipulator like Dr. Will LOL (I think the only one who remembers her seasons is... Lauren? And she's not doing anything about it.)
