You need to get out more, the good AI chatbots are expensive and the free ones kind of suck and just give short responses with no memory.

It was fun for a while and I think I brought it up in another AI topic, but I was recently messing around with a Star Trek TNG scenario where you are a new Ensign straight out of the academy. You could do anything. I hung out in Ten Forward talking philosophy with Guninan, helped Captain Picard diffuse a diplomatic crisis, etc... Oh and of course banged alien crew members. I even did boring things like help Data configure the sensor array. It was basically a game.

Why would I care to do that? It sounds kinda sad, honestly. If I wanted to make a story I would just make one myself, but I write as a hobby.

Dunno, I've never watched a show and wished I could actually speak to the characters. Something about that doesn't seem right. This also sounds like the exact opposite of "getting out."
