Mario Circuit (DS) It's kind of a perfect, like, "basic Mario circuit" course, because it's really amazing how much just having a couple of fun little Mario elements elevates it. Standard race course? Whatever. Standard race course where you have to drive around Goombas and Piranha Plants and a Wiggler on the third lap? Now we're talking! These little things take what would be a pretty simple course and make it something that feels Mario-themed and consistently fun. I don't even remember this one from MKDS for some reason, so I don't have a ton of nostalgia for it, so it doesn't really get as much of a nostalgia boost as it probably should. ...
