(T-90) Tokyo Wakusei Planetokio - TOKYO PLANET / VIDEO GAME MIX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIiK3ZRnJs0 Nominated by: failgirlema Scores: 5 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 4 + 4 + 2 = 24 Comments: tazzy: C "pyresword: The synth part at 0:36 is cool, but for the most part this just isn't my style. " KCF: This feels too tame on the "weird spectrum" for it to have any lasting impression WW: 4/10. Fluttershy: First Listen: A more normal song than the title and intro made me think it was going to be. Well, maybe not "normal", but more melodic at the least. I kinda like it, but I was hoping for something more chaotic and out there. [Second Listen: I swear those chopped, stuttering voices that open the song promise that we're in for something really crazy... and then the song just... doesn't go that way at all? It isn't anything that I dislike and there's nothing wrong with the direction the song takes, it's just not anything like I was expecting and I wish it had gone in an even wilder direction.] (54.28/100) uf8: I don't feel like I'm ever qualified to evaluate really anything Osamu Sato makes. I don't think that there's really any way around saying this, so I'll just get it out of the way that his songs are pretty much just abstract art in vgm form lol. Is it my favourite artpiece he's made? Probably not, at least not for now, but it's still definitely what I'd have to say is art in video game form. And that is always going to be high praise in and of itself coming from me.... Anyway, I can't wait for all the other rotations to either say much of the same or, you know, probably having something more meaningful to say than me lol. ???/10 rwlh: [7.5] Sato doing Sato things dowolf: I thought an ad popped up at first lol. I have no idea what to think of this. It's absolutely an impossible track to truly judge on a single listen. There's just so much going on. Love the theramin(?) in the background. I'm less fond of the pulsing sound around 2:20. I kinda want to get away from it. But yeah, thanks for sharing... whatever this is. azuarc: Second weird track of the block, but it's kinda neat? I dunno, brings back memories of early DOS soundblaster games for no particular reason. --- Only the exceptions can be exceptional. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
