If you have $1000 worth of stock and the dollar weakens the stock price is not going to magically double to account for the devalued dollar. Anyways I still dislike the fact that Bitcoin is Proof of Work and functions terribly inefficiently compared to modern crypto assets. Ethereum still tracks Bitcoin pretty well and it's a Proof of Stake coin.
