Alright, so Baldwin's attorney was doing such a good job. He was doing awesome. He was crossing the investigator and was getting to the point that Alec Baldwin did not know there were live rounds on the set (questionable, but he made a good case--we'll see on redirect if it sticks), and he established that even if Alec Baldwin wanted to check if there were dummy rounds, that dummy rounds look identical to live rounds and he wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

But he has spent two hours fucking up questioning the witness, doing all the same fuck ups from yesterday and dragging it out and making arguments that don't matter and won't move the jury, so that all the good he did before is buried and I barely understand what Baldwin's attorney wants us to take from this, and I imagine the jury is the same way. They called for lunch, again, because Baldwin's attorney can't figure out how to properly question a witness.

This dude is extremely frustrating. I'm at the point of losing all hope for him being able to effectively defend Baldwin because he has failed to stick the landing on the only two really good points he's made so far.
