| Lopen 05/20/24 12:45:12 AM #99: | It may shock you but I actually liked FFIX more in the past. I actually beat Ozma. I was never a fan of the story or most of the cast but I used to think the gameplay was satisfying and I liked Vivi.
Playing it these days with those drag ass battles is ROUGH though. I tried replaying it 2017 or 2018 and could not get further than the end of disk 1. Note I had replayed FF7, FF8, FFT and Suikoden 1/2 in the same time period and they all held up better (Suikoden games held up perfectly and were a total blast) I don't think FFIX hasn't aged-- I just think nostalgia may have counteracted it aging and then some in terms of the fanbase. But that again doesn't mean it hasn't aged it just means its fanbase doesn't care it has. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
