Patriots offense is better than last year. Its at least no worse because it was pretty much as bad as it gets. Even if they somehow put up worse stats, it doesn't matter - it can't be effectively worse in terms of winning games.

The defense was OK last year though it was missing Gonzo and Judon most of the time.

So while I think the Pats aren't very good yet have a pretty tough schedule, I could seem them being surprising and winning like 5-6 games.

I've seen the two schools of thought - you draft Maye #3 to start him week 1. You want excitement, you want people getting his jersey in the pro shop, you want him to learn on the job. Alternatively, you let him learn and develop his footwork on the sideline. If he spends the first season running for his life and trying to do too much with his arm, you basically have Zach Wilson.

really want to see Brissett starting most of the season.
