If Nintendo did what PlayStation is doing where they release their exclusives on Steam a couple years after release, theyd literally print billions of dollars the first day they did it. So many people would even buy Switch games they already own again, because Nintendos hardware is awful and offers no compelling reason for itself to exist. Their software is amazing, but its held back by their terrible hardware. MrDrMan posted... I dont think Nintendo would ever do this based on history but I like the idea.If this ever happens I'm willing to bet money Apple will be their partner. The two have very common design and development philosophies, and it requires the least amount of effort on Nintendo's part for maximum reach and profit. They essentially port their games from one ARM SoC to another and suddenly their software is available on billions of devices which natively support all major controller types and in most cases can be cast to televisions. --- Thanks for reading! ...
