Yeah I was avoiding it at first because I was trying to speed through the game and didn't need a dozen plus hour distraction in the form of a card game.

I was surprised how kinda easy it was though. Minor adjustments aside, once I had a deck focused around boosts I was able to beat most opponents within a few hands and that was mostly because of my initial hand/draws not giving me enough to claim opponent territory well.
Yeah queen's blood clicked fast. (I understood how to play queen's blood faster than I did with the version of fort condor in yuffie's DLC for remake). The general winning strategy def seems to be starting your hand off with 2 of your better 1 pawn cards, 2 of your better 2 pawn cards, and 1 of your strongest 3 pawn cards. Make sure them suckers synergize and power up one another with their special abilities, and then bum-rush your opponent's side of the queen's blood board to take their spots from them. Then double back to your own side to finish them off. Hasn't failed me yet, lol.

Queen's blood is probably my favorite card game spin-off I ever played in a rpg, slightly ahead of witcher 3's card game. Definitely like it way more than the one they came up for in FF9.
