Thought I wasn't going to make the requirement for that trophy at the end there, but I barely made it at the end lol. I actually like these music sequences and hope there is 1 or 2 more later in the game somewhere:

I am also happy I got my HD cloud riding a dolphin. I wanted to know what it'd look like with modern technology, and I got it. Thanks square-enix. I also got marshmallow barret, so that was great.

Now I must play on because I must know if that one old dude in cosmo canyon bugenhagen(sp?) has legs. It always looked like his bottom half was a floating crystal ball in the original so I'm trying to see wassup with that. Also palmer getting hit with a truck better still be in.

Also I find it amazing how tifa and aerith just nailed that performance after only like what, 2 minutes of practice lol.

I watched a friend barely squeak by the parade stuff after an hour of retrying. Gotta admit, I wondered if you could be so bad, the play-by-play announcers would send you a grenade like in the original.

That Sousa-style march is quite catchy but I wish it had a proper climax.

I'm actually curious about that, if the news lady can just roast you for sucking lol.

What the game does not really tell you is that the more stars on the parade formation difficulty thingy is actually a good thing. (Compared to assuming since 1 star is easiest that means you should easily get all those points/ratings. You get less points overall meaning you have to be absolutely flawless, compared to playing with more stars, which=more button combinations, but that also=way more leniency for screwin' up).

I only restarted the first time halfway through because I forgot you can edit the parade formation, but on my second attempt I fumbled my way to victory/muh trophy.

When I first seen this commander lady, that got me to thinking if she is elena's older sister. I remember that japan only phone game before crisis awhile back and how one of the turk player characters was elena's older sister. They definitely look alike in rebirth.

Look, if they indicated your performance (like they fucking did in Remake) on each button, it'd been so much easier to have a fucking clue how well you did.

The only thing that really matters is the max combo, how many times you got great and good timed button presses compared to bad ones (notified with the ding sound when you get great ones) and you get extra points playing on the 3 star/hardest parade formations. Did the combo break? The player fucked up. More button presses via 3 star formation difficulty+the combo is high+a lot of great button presses=they doing good. My combo broke a few times in the final section means I was messing up. That is all you really need to know here.

Ah yeah that is true. It wouldn't have hurt for them to go over that again since the first part/remake was like 4 years ago for most of us or it just would have been nice to go over it again in general.

I see this lady looking like the one lady from the bouncer:

And I'm about to wreck everyone in this queen's blood tournament. I actually really got into this card game, so I like when it pops up. Lets do this.

Yeah I was avoiding it at first because I was trying to speed through the game and didn't need a dozen plus hour distraction in the form of a card game.

I was surprised how kinda easy it was though. Minor adjustments aside, once I had a deck focused around boosts I was able to beat most opponents within a few hands and that was mostly because of my initial hand/draws not giving me enough to claim opponent territory well.

Yeah queen's blood clicked fast. (I understood how to play queen's blood faster than I did with the version of fort condor in yuffie's DLC for remake). The general winning strategy def seems to be starting your hand off with 2 of your better 1 pawn cards, 2 of your better 2 pawn cards, and 1 of your strongest 3 pawn cards. Make sure them suckers synergize and power up one another with their special abilities, and then bum-rush your opponent's side of the queen's blood board to take their spots from them. Then double back to your own side to finish them off. Hasn't failed me yet, lol.

Queen's blood is probably my favorite card game spin-off I ever played in a rpg, slightly ahead of witcher 3's card game. Definitely like it way more than the one they came up for in FF9.

I tell you those Security Officers are normal but they put in the work in Queen's Blood.
