Political posting was allowed 9 months ago. Half of PotD was something of a political nature back then. This announcement came literally two days ago. It's blindsided pretty much everyone and I don't think anyone's particularly happy with it, given how inevitably inconsistent the policy's enforcement will be and how unhealthy it is to kill off active communities like CE. SKARDAVNELNATE posted... Basically I thought Fox News was insincere, commoditizing their position and not committed to it. It was not due to the coverage of any one story. There were other examples that I gave as my reason for thinking that. Yep, I can see why that would fall under the umbrella of political posting, even without clear guidelines on what does and doesn't count. As expected, you're a victim of the new policy and not of mods taking issue with Fox News being badmouthed. --- This is my signature.
