Do we say that the people who vote the correct way should have more of a right or obligation to vote?

I mean, if you have the ability to vote against fascists gaining power, which isn't exactly the Tories from what I know, however my understanding is that they are constantly looking for ways to hurt the British people and are responsible for Brexit, it seems like the morally right thing to do would be to prevent that.

If I lived overseas and retained the ability to vote against Republicans I would because them gaining control of government is not good for the American people nor the world in general.

However, if you were someone who would vote for the Tories or Republicans, then yeah I'd want you to not vote because your vote would cause harm to people.

Were this 30 years ago and there was more nuance to the parties it would be more understanding, however in modern times voting for a Republican is just the immoral thing to do, even if it's not illegal and tens of millions will still do it and I don't want their voting rights suppressed because they'll do so.

So, yeah, it does matter.
