Like, hop in the shower, aim the water away from you, turn the heat up really hot, and then stick the bite into the water for as long as you can. Like a second or two. The relief is instant, the moment you take the bite out of the hot water. Yeah you don't need to boil yourself alive. Get some capsaicin cream or the gold bond stuff.
