- PS5 has sold between 50-60 million units.
- Do Xbox Series X|S users care about this game? Seems like the Xbox fanbase overwhelmingly prefers Western games. And remember Sony is paying SE for the console exclusivity, which presumably exceeds what FF7 would have sold on Xbox, or SE wouldnt have agreed to the deal.
- Its being ported to PC.
- Switch doesnt have enough power to run it.
So this is pretty much as good as it gets for sales. Blaming the PS5, the best selling 9th-generation console by at least a 3-to-1 margin, is misguided.
