In Pennsylvania, they used to do the registration stickers one year as MM YY and then the next year they'd do them as YY MM. I have no idea why. But I didn't know this. So my parents moved my grandfather into a home and basically gave me one of the cars they inherited as a result. Old car. Nothing anyone would pay any attention to. One day my dad asked me when the last time it'd been inspected was. I shrugged and looked at the sticker. It said 06 08. I didn't think anything of this because it was the first half of 2008.
